That was the way I took the information that the shrouds are of “least concern” on the list of things to do 🙂
I have a shroud and I love the whisper quiet of my rifle but it would be naive of us to think that it stayed below the radar and nobody would go to jail for something like this IMO anyway it would be a surrender item at the very worst.
I need to work on my joking around lol but I was really kidding in my first reply about it being the ATF facebook page 🙂
I did do some asking around to who I consider the correct person to ask and we have nothing to worry about even though it’s on the radar 🙂
Please don’t let anything I said deter anyone from getting a shroud it’s only in michigan that the state could make a stink anyway.
My shroud should be the least of their concerns 😈

I’m a member of a LE site and there are everything from MPs to DEA and ATF to secret service on the site and I pmed a member that would have the correct information (won’t ever name him) and he said that the barrel shroud is a known item but not an item of interest at this time 🙂 so no worries.
