Per “tbear”, the Czech Joule is about $20 USD at 7/15/2014 exchange rate. In caliber .25, at 63 joules, that would be a little over $1250 dollars, which is not a bad deal!

Thanks tbear for the info!!!

So, according to tbear the .177 at 22 joules will be 400 bucks ? …now that sure is a good deal 😀

Dear Mr. Hoot!

Thanks for the interest shown to our production!

The beginning of sales of rifles the VULCAN is postponed till 20.08.2014, because we decided to carry out additional tests of air tank in the company BAUER, which specializes on systems of a high pressure.

Now we carry out tests to final fracture and as 20 000 cycles of a recharge of an air cylinder.
I hope that you agree that such tests are very important for rifles PCP.

Results of tests will be published on our site. In the course of testing we made some changes to a design and now received the following technical parameters:

cal. 6,35 (.25) – 63 joules, 40 shots, pellets JSB King.
cal. 5.5 (.22) – 41 joules, 90 shots, pellets JSB 5.52
cal. 4.5 (.177) – 22 joules, 150 shots, pellets JSB 4.52

Barrels only CZ.

Unfortunately, not everything goes according to plan, but we will better waste time, than we would sell production of which I won’t be sure of quality.

We will report about the beginning of sales in addition very soon.”

Well, there you have it…August, 2014 it is my boys…You Europeans, I’m interested in the 6.35 caliber, how much is 63 Jewels in US Dollars??? I’m not certain of the conversion of Czech Jewels to USD….Doesn’t sound too expensive, but I can’t find a conversion chart.

Kindest regards,

Uncle Hoot:

Thanks for updating. I hope it is quiet and more shot count since it has 250 bar working pressure.

It will be at least 1200 euro in europe, Vulcan demand that resellers ask that minimum price, think you’ll have to convert it to USD, almost the same prices as the cricket here.

Iam also waiting for the test type, got exact the same email 🙂 Hope it won’t take long.

It must be really good to justify that price. that’s higher than cricket and 2.5 times as much as P12. There should be a price pressure now.

ive been told by airgun tech today that the projected proposed price is 1850 on the us market but could difer depending on the distributor

My Sources say this gun will cost around 2K in the States. Looks nice but at that price I’ll let you guys buy one first.

Well, this certainly isn’t the first time the Russians have thrown a monkey wrench into someones plans! LOL, Not by a long shot! 🙄 😆

His email relates directly to my sample/review Vulcan.. the way these things normally work is as follows:

*Someone designs a new PCP and builds a few test prototypes
*The Prototype is shown at local shows etc with the hope of picking up sales and representatives/dealers on every continent
*Unless this said somebody has a rich grandaddy the quest for investor/investors starts to set up an expensive CNC airgun manufacturing factory
*A small run of test units are produced and sent to the new dealers.. This is the stage we are currently at
*If all is well with test units the dealers then place large orders and pay upfront knowing there will be a considerable production wait time
*Dealers eventually get guns and dispatch them to eager customers that have waited what seems like forever.

If I had to guess Id say the hold up of Russian material is the large dia duralium air tube as it is a milspec product that is only made in Russia also used on the Edgun and Kalibrgun

Is the estimated TOA for Continental Europe or for Continental NZ ??

Yep. There was some talk about joining NZ to the CEU ( Continental European Union) but i don’t know how far those plans on towing your Island over here are at the moment. There’s also the little problem where to place the Kiwi Island but to me the Amsterdam Harbour seems like a good candidate.
Lots of weird looking creatures roaming around the Red Light District already…

quote Sir Ville:

Well, i know nothing about any hold-up or reluctance on exporting outside “continental Europe” , whatever you mean by that. What’s the non- continental part? UK? some Greek Island? Sicily? Balearic Islands?

New Zealand it would seem? 😆

I have emailed the companies owner to see how they are going and will report back when I have an answer..
This is a statement from a previous email..

“The beginning of sales of rifles VULCAN is planned for the end of May – the beginning of June 2014.
In the same time the final price will be defined.
We will surely inform you on it and we will send your test sample.”
