AirMax P15 .25
Came last night. nice looking little pup is light as advertised. Spits AA 25.4s 796fps Hi, Lo 576 from just adjusting the hammer spring. trigger not bad nothing in the paperwork on what the reg is set at.
Pulled the stock off as i was unscrewing the rear mount bolt i heard something spring loose. nothing fell out lol. inspecting the bolt threads you could tell how far it was screwed in. so i screwed it in to see how far it moved the trigger rod that was what sprung free.
looks to be about 3 or 4 threads sticking through the hole hitting the trigger rod. i put it back together and just left out the rear bolt the front bolt holds it fine for now. i’ll cut a washer for it later. the side lever started out a little rough. the arm link seems to be hitting a square corner left over from milling i’ll hit that with a file later. not really crazy about the 11mm scope rail but looks like skilled laborer could whip up a weaver rail in no time. on sound at 1 meter away 796fps on my cheap sound meter 114dba, 1meter away 576fps 104dba.
ok so instead of making a washer for the rear mounting bolt i went ahead an sawed of 5 threads. that seemed to work best.

Just checked the od on the barrel .508. Hummm just .008 bigger then my marauder .25 barrel.
Opppsss forgot to turn the power up 575 over the chrony just now. Turned it back up 788 shooting fine right now. Also ordered a new huma reg so it’s on the way.
Hummm somethings up not sure what. My last mag it shot 3 shots with in a 1/2″ of each other the next 3 all hole connected. Move over to next target next 2 shots 1/2″ between shots. Right now I have scope rings attached via 11mm to weaver adapter.
maybe I shouldn’t have painted it now it’s shooting like crap lol! well damn the weihrauch seems to be clipping pellets. mmmm time to switch back.

Well I stuck a pellet down the muzzle to the skirt plenty tight so yes it’s choked. It’s shooting really good now. While I had that rear mount screw out it shot like shit lucky to get 1″ group. Getting the screw cut and installed seem to fix the accuracy.
Dead on when I shot that squirrel this morning. reports of the side lever pivot pin falling out.
How does it shoot?
.25 barrels are new for the chinese and Im interested to know if they got it right.. is it choked?
ok how about a blackout P15.
good news the muzzle threads on the barrel are 1/2×20. so i opted to change over to a Weihrauch ldc. the weihrauch didn’t do squat for my 22xx .25 BG.
it dropped the muzzle report at 1 meter from 114dba to 105dba while not really back yard friendly was still a good drop in sound.

ok when i unboxed the gun i just started shooting didn’t clean the barrel. and accuracy was spotty at best. today i got around to cleaning the barrel and it was dirty to the max. just shot this at 15 yards 4 shots per target pretty sure the couple flyers i pulled. trigger nothing like my mutant lol.
