At this point in time I would settle for any magazine, whether it’s self indexing or not. Ed undoubtedly will provide us with more choices as to multi shot or perhaps even semi but the real question is when? The answer is When he’s damn good and ready. With that being said I do think when and if the cricket becomes more available to the general public and a greater volume of people speak in favor of this multi shot, Ed will come through to save our day!
I have seen a few different styles of magazines over the last couple of years (some better than others) but don’t seem to find any place in which to purchase one. Tony did provide a magazine for a very short period but that option soon disappeared. I would think that some talented person here or on the yellow would have came up with a solution to a manual magazine. Oh do I keep hoping!
Kind regards, mike
Well I found another video…
But this guy is a goofball
Ahhh..I did not know Tony used a 3rd party. Myabe the person I bought assumed Ed made it ?? I do not know.
They work great ! I love to get a .25 with this multishot…until Ed develops a self indexing.
Thanks for the info…
JR
Mike,
I purchased the edgun from a gentlmen here in the US. When I spoke to him , he mentioned Ed had developed this for him.
It is great, 7 shots !
Heck with all the insanely inflated Edgun prices on the yellow, I should sell this unusal multi shot Edgun 😉
JR
Me too. Those manual multishot kits were sold briefly by Tony. They were made by a third party; IIRC, Tony said the guy just disappeared. While they are completely manual, they work quite well (at least mine does). Out in the field, it’s a lot easier to rotate the magazine one notch and thow the bolt than it is to get a pellet out of the holder, stick it in the breach and then throw the bolt (especially if your hands are cold). Wish I had one for my .25, too.
JR,
Million dollar question? where did you get the magazine? Share with us.
Inquiring Minds want to know!
Hello out there,
I actually have a multishot Edgun .22

Not sure how to attach pictures

This thread on the EDgun Russian forum has been going since april last year and have now reached 51 pages:

Although Google is far from perfect in translating, it clearly shows there’s a desire/debate for multishot/semiauto also in Russia. I for one was hoping for a kit for my R3, – but judgig from ED’s statement today, – it seems a semiauto will not happen until he’s come up with a new rifle…:

A mag solution/multishot kit is probably a different matter. He does not say, – but I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s just around the corner somewhere…..
Let’s cross fingers and hope for Santa’s Good Will this year…….. 😉
😀
What makes Ed stand out from the crowd of the usual hard to reach/profit chasing/couldn’t-care-less airgun manufacturers? Well, personally I admire him for his willingness to make himself available to his customers — either here, on open forum, or in private; to listen carefully to their complaints and questions, and, to do his best to make each and every EDgun owner pleased with his product… Just saying 🙂
That first magazine video is ingenious. It doesn’t appear that it would be difficult at all for some of you machinists to copy with a 3D printer and a good magnet.
Second thought. How in the world is Ed supposed to have time to build and ship guns when he keeps having to respond to all your incessant complaining and questions…..? Just saying. 🙂
🙂
Any news ???? 🙄
Nope. Not yet 😥 I guess I have to be more patient 😉
🙂
Any news ???? 🙄
I used it once, while hunting at the south of Russia, then I turned to single shot again. I didn’t like it.
+ 1!!!
PS. Ed, please reply to my question sent yesterday via e-mail.

Jr, purchasing a magazine from Tony was short lived. It seems like a couple years now and I have yet to find a place to purchase one. Seems to be plenty of interest for a magazine, just wonder if there is enough support to commission someone willing and able to build one.
