Best value Leshiy scopes?
Could we make a top 3 or top 5 list of the most suitable and best “bang for your Buck” scopes to put on a Leshiy? It seems you are able to buy it now so surely the people who do must have ideas on scopes?
My priorities would be:
1. Weight
2. Turrets
3. Glass
4. Reticle
Turrets must be Good because switching caliber will mean dialing them turrets. Weight is obvious. Good glass is always nice and a reticle suitable for a airgun. Also not everyone can afford a March 1-10 😉

Where did you read this? That’s an odd parallax yardage on a scope. Usually AR type scopes have a fixed parallax and most are fixed at 100 yds. Leupold parallax specs are hard to find unless you email them directly. They treat it like a big secret or something.
This scope that Wingman picked out is pretty badass for the Leshiy. The reticle is decent too. Most AR type optics don’t have airgun friendly reticles with holdover marks.

Its as fixed parallax scope Cricket, having adjustable parallax on a 4 power scope is really not necessary..
It is very clear which anyone who is accustomed to shooting higher powered scopes will be pleasantly surprised with.
On 4 power is is crystal clear and focuses perfectly within Leshiy ranges.
I had one on my AK 105 in .223 and it was a real sweetie..
Im a big fan of the burris counterpart too but it only comes with a duplex reticle.
Bushnell make a few suitable candidates too.
I hadnt considered scope cam compatibility Exziver but the more I think about it the more I just think that youtube has enough critters popping in scope cams so will take another angle on this one. I have other PCP platforms suited to that work. My Leshiy is staying light and compact with the exception of possible an atlas bipod when required.
You could always just mount one of your other larger scopes on high rings just for a filmed hunt.

I see some people have already missed the whole point of this guns intended design. It is a compact light weight backpack/poachers style design. Putting high rings and a large heavy scope on it for any other reason than testing its accuracy capabilities at pushed ranges is really just pointless.
If that is what you want from an Edgun, just buy the Matador, an already proven long range capable compact PCP.
I laugh to myself every time I read ” it needs to be multi shot and it needs a longer barrel etc” No it doesnt.. love it for what it is or buy something else..
Personally I hope for once Ed doesn’t listen to the public’s endless wants and need and change this model for the worst as Ive seen past models go.
I like it.. perfection for its mission designed intention.
Will I buy from the first batch of 500? Hell yes.. who’s to say it will be popular enough to even make a second batch?
I kick myself for not buying a Matador 2.5 or one of the first Morana’s that looked ascetically perfect.
I will be fitting a Leupold Mark AR Mod 1 1.5-4×20 to mine, realistically compact light weight 4 to 6 power scopes will be perfect for this platform as it will make a great short to mid range backpack pesting gun for me. I love the clicking detent on the HST too for quick countable adjustments when lowering the power on the fly for use in farm sheds etc.

Bingo! Well said, and that looks like a great option for a scope! I just need to find a good scope that agrees with my scope camera as well. I really want to make one of my hunting videos with my Leshiy. I know it’s going to look foolish as hell with a camera attached, however… It must be done! :winkn:
Wingman, what is the parallax on that scope?
Looking at the drop in the stock (mounted lower than the inline AR15 design) Id say low mounts will do just fine with scopes with the smaller objective diameters.

As usually have to agree with Elmer when it comes to design ….
If possible I never go higher than medium mounts and the smaller the gun the more the high mounts look weird (IMHO)….
On the Leshiy you will need high mounts already for smaller scopes but that’s the way it is.
This is being made a bigger deal than it is. There a scope options from cheap to super expensive that will fit the Leshiy. The height of the moderator has very little to do with the scope choices. Keeping the guns balance is paramount.
Vortex PST, bug buster, SWFA, and others all offer scopes that will will fit perfectly on the Leshiy. The choice will depend on your budget.
Going back to my Crossman 1322 days, using open sights is fine up to maybe 25 yards but trying to place an accurate shot at 50 yards with open sights? That’s going to take some skills with holdovers. I would go with a red dot if you want to keep it extremely light and compact.

AIRMAX 2-7×32 AMX amx reticle looks very airgun friendly. only 10.6″ long. I’ll try it on my Leshiy.
