Best value Leshiy scopes?
Could we make a top 3 or top 5 list of the most suitable and best “bang for your Buck” scopes to put on a Leshiy? It seems you are able to buy it now so surely the people who do must have ideas on scopes?
My priorities would be:
1. Weight
2. Turrets
3. Glass
4. Reticle
Turrets must be Good because switching caliber will mean dialing them turrets. Weight is obvious. Good glass is always nice and a reticle suitable for a airgun. Also not everyone can afford a March 1-10 😉

The more I look at this gun, it gives me more reason to believe that Ed decided that form was more important that functionality since he should have considered the design to allow for better scope mounting selections. He should have flipped the moderator downwards since the rail is so low or simply do away with the eccentric moderator. Looking at the side profile, the barrel of the original design goes through the bottom of the moderator. By moving the moderator down and level with the rail it would allow for the objective bell to have more clearance without using extra-high rings. Had he done this, it would give you more choices in scopes with objective diameters maybe towards 40-44mm. As it is now, you need to get really high rings or get a scope with a 24-32mm objective bell to keep your scope to barrel axis distance at a minimal.

it’s 35 yards at 10X. I have used that scope on several different guns.
KS, I was looking at that scope. The only thing that put Me off was the 35y parallax.
Fatdude, if you want a vortex, I would expand into the PST line. I currently own a Vortex 2.5-10X32 MOA/MOA EBR-1. It will parallax down to 15 yards on the 2.5X setting. I watched Ed’s video on accuracy. Based on that video I’ll bet I can shoot this gun out to 100 yards. Because of the potential long-range capability, a good long range reticle is critical.

Never and ever think of variable power…as Brian mentioned it is totally useless and wasting money and bring more extra useless weight on your PB …. if you are a hunter… fixed power is the best choice …
MTC GENESIS 3-9×40 UL seems like a good option for it. Its a good scope with amd reticle. Weighs only 387 grams and costs 130£. Sunshade and flip up covers are included.
No, not yet. I am not willing to take the risk of the first batch. Not after the fiasco of the .30 cals. But I am interested enough to save up for one and wait patiently for it to be tested by the public.

Any fixed power scopes out there suitable for it? I am not a big fan of variable power SFP scopes anymore, seems pointless for hunting. I see they have a bug Buster 4×32 and Hawke has a 4×32 as well. But 4x is a bit small, I would like 6x or something. FFP tends to be heavy

A bug buster. I am not a huge fan of them, but a Bug Buster is about the smallest 3-9 mil-dot reticle you can buy. I think having a scope that fits onto the small Leshiy is critical

Gee, for such a small gun to keeping it light it would be cool to try open sights, fast target accusation too.
