Best value Leshiy scopes?
Could we make a top 3 or top 5 list of the most suitable and best “bang for your Buck” scopes to put on a Leshiy? It seems you are able to buy it now so surely the people who do must have ideas on scopes?
My priorities would be:
1. Weight
2. Turrets
3. Glass
4. Reticle
Turrets must be Good because switching caliber will mean dialing them turrets. Weight is obvious. Good glass is always nice and a reticle suitable for a airgun. Also not everyone can afford a March 1-10 😉

While I intend to use the 1-6×28 Tac-Vector Optics scope on Leshiy with the .25cal barrel, I will probably also get this little Russian PU style 4×21 scope with adjustable parallax for my .22 barrel when using Leshiy inside barns and sheds on pigeons etc on low power..
I currently use a 14ftlbs P-rod in a Rapid compact bullpup for that work with a 4x Burris or a Russian Yukon NV scope on it for those jobs but I’m really looking forward to replacing it with the Leshiy.
10x without paralax adjustment can be really tricky at airgun ranges. Also I know that scope but I’ve seen mixed reviews. Actually some pretty bad (glass quality, especially when used @ 10x).
MRV, nice choice on scopes, I like the reticle. Simple and easy to read. I assume it is 2nd focal ?
I really believe Leshiy is an airgun with serious 50/75meters potential. I can use 4x scope at 50m distance for general shooting (if the glass is really good) but 6x would be much better. However compact scope with X-to-10x and side focus (plus reticle with a lot of reference points sounds) like a dream to me. Yeah, March 1-10×24 comes to mind immediately BUT my wallet is not ready for that. So I have an enormous hope for Leshiy & Vortex PST 2.5-10×32 compatibility. Yeah! That scope is awesome! Just could have been 2″ shorter 😉
In 1-4x range it’s hard to beat SWFA 1-4×24 Classic Tactical with that awesome MilQuad reticle. You get awesome scope for the money! Lelya approved!
Hi guys and Leshiy owners,,
have found some little Russian (the origin of the Leshiy) scopes for the little Leshiy, the one i provided below 1st one, it is about only 220 gr … which is one the lightest scopes i have even seen … in fact don’t know if they are suitable for Leshiy or not…you guys must be knowing better then me,,, so,,,can someone select the best and suitable one between them ….????

Awesome! I’ve got to start saving I guess 😉
The connect scopes are heavy. I was surprised when I bought one. When the gun comes, I’ll mount a whole bunch of scopes on the gun including the Vortex 2.5-10X32
Actually…. not. It’d be great Lelya scope, but I’d say forget about ‘connect’ series on Leshiy. Connect has a supershort eye relief, which means the scope has to be close to the eye. Sure, it’s possible to mount it that way BUT on a folded Leshiy it’d protrude at least 3 to 4 inches from the end line of a gun. And that would completely ruin the concept. I measured the pull lenght on my guns and compared to Leshiy drawings and measurements and I need at least 3.5″ eye relief to use it comfortably. 4″ would be great, 4.5″ would be blessing. Connect series with ‘next to the eye-bell’ relief is a no-go for Leshiy (imho).
I simulated the Vortex on Leshiy with eye-bell protruding about half inch behind the end of folded gun, which is absolutely max for me…
I believe, sir, you may also want to look at the mtc connect 3x12x24SL
I’m sure my #1 scope choice would be 1-4×24 SWFA with MilQuad reticle. BUT…. what if I’d like to put something more powerful? Like up to 10x and with thin mil-based reticle and side focus? Sure, there is an awesome compact March 1-10 but it’s WAY above my budget. So below is my simutlation of Leshiy with Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10×32 scope, which is one of the coolest general airgun scopes around. And it’s be still easy to carry in a discreet way. What do you think? Acceptable compromise? Looks not bad at all IMHO!

I’ve got SWFA 1-4 Tactical Classic and it seems not a bad choice for Leshiy. MilQuad reticle is actually quite fine, easily allows for 100m shots, which is more than Leshiy is going to see in real use. Vortex Viper PST 1-4 is also quite acceptable choice. Both are really good quality glass!

Okay, it’s great that the Leshiy is fold-able but that shit is becoming too long now. Isn’t the standard 250mm barrel model 24.9″? The one pictured looks crazy long.
Also, what’s the eye relief on these 1x scopes? Are they better than a normal scope since most of them like Wingman said are much further forward without a cantilever mount.

The 4×21 is (was) also available branded as Barska and the reviews were also very very mixed, from “ok scope” to “impossible to zero”.
Athlon… http://www.opticstalk.com/athlon-rifle-scopes_topic42523.html
So far that Vector looks great to me (for sub-$300 scopes)
