Brand new Airwolf?
So I received my suppose to be new Airwolf from AOA but he screwed up my order.
No magazine, WTF? Do the guns ship with out them?
I ordered 30mm rings I get 1″. I’m starring at paper weight!

You’re making me scratch my head like WTF? To my knowledge they don’t remove the LCD (screen) they remove the stock shroud and replace with the HS. Is that you meant? Is the shroud also referred to as an LCD?
As of now I’m still waiting for my hugget system… I decided not to toy around with the mag because I’d have to dissect the magazine in order to swap the magnet and I’m not about to fuck things up so since I’ve removed the Hawk I have no reason to swap the mag no longer. By all means this is not backyard quiet at all. It’s as loud as my .22! 👿
I have bought three guns from AOA latest being the air ranger,it does come with 1 mag,when i received mine it was really hard to pull bolt back,it has loosened up since ..question i wanted to hugget lcd but did not go through with it for the extra $300..but it makes me wonder WTF do they do with the factory lcd that comes off the gun???
so what happened with this mess…?? any resolves?
I got my chrony a few days ago and had a chance to send some pellets through it. On low I’m getting an avg of 660 and 850 on high. Low 25 ft lbs and 41ft lbs high. Is there anyway to adjust each setting individually?
I hope something good turns out from all this feed back. I was surprised to hear this many complains about AOA.
Just for the record the Airwolf is not backyard friendly, at least not the .25 This is the loudest gun I own and possibly louder then my springer. Something really weird about this gun in particular is that it’s even louder when dry fired! AOA says the HS should of been in since the 15th. So as of now the wolf can not play.

I ordered the bsa scorpion and it came to me fucking used and abused!!!
They didnt even include a checklist or chrony or target or my pellets

Also I want to sell this thing as its just a bad memory and I dont wanna deal with it, it be about the price of a mrod and Will Piatt said he could fix the barrel, put some cold blue on it, and tune it. If you guys want.
It will be shipped wrapped up in hardcase. Then boxed.

Seriously, they did check it and chrony it for me. I have a chrony so that was a wash, but the safety did not work, the adjusment screw was screwed all the way in so it did not engage the trigger.
I tried to adjust the trigger and it all came uncunted, not having a diagram of the trigger, I re-engineeded it so the spring would stay in, turns out it did not need to be re-engineered, just the set screw was replaced with a improper one. So I unre-eingeered it after fixing the screw.
Yes airgun quality is shit, but sometimes so are powder burners. Ruger used to use shit Wilson barrels, I hunted a season commercially with a Ruger #3 in 223 that had the scope mounting screws on the barrel put on misaligned so that you could not sight in a 3×9 Leupold VXII, I sent it back to them and bitched, they sent me a new Ruger #3 to replace what they called a Ruger #3 in 22 Hornet and admitted the Hornet had accuracy problems. Long story short, they did not even know what I sent them back or why. The new rifle had the misaligned screw holes as did evry one I inspected.
Smith& Wesson made guns for a few years while the brits owned them, that had the barrels and frames misaligned. Training at Portland PD sold guns to the recruits and they were all misaligned. These guns shot to the left 2 feet at 20 yards, great gun for a hostage senerio. If you sent them back, S&W put them on two pieces of lead babbit and hit them with a third to straighten them out. Like Crosman and their shit, they knew about the problem, just figured that most would not notice.

The only reason I can think of them overlooking their policy is because they are well aware of the condition of the rifle they sent you and want you to eat it. I hope this kind of business bites the in the ass.

I was told by AOA once the Hugget arrives that they’ll send it to me. I asked if I need to send the rifle back and was told no it’s a simple task. I’ve read plenty of posts where AOA insists you send the rifle to them to install but told me it was no problem if I do it. Anyone install this before?

my only problem with buying an LDC from AoA is that they must permanently install it- at the time of purchase from them on a new gun or you must ship it to them if a used gun. in other words, you can’t just order a huggett or air stream mark5 and have it shipped to you TO JUST SCREW ON YOUR BARREL!! AD SHIPPING COSTS BOTH WAYS AND AN LDC GETS REALLY EXPENSIVE IN A HURRY!

when i called AOA about buying an AirStream or Huggett for several Daystates, they told me i would have to ship them the guns for permanent installation- and their website states the same policy. instead i posted a WTB here and bought the AirStreams for MUCH less.

It was a bit of a pig to get on, and I can see why AoA recommend that they fit it for you. I don’t know if my Airwolf barrel is slightly different from the norm, in that it has a slightly thicker band at the breech end (which the set screws bite into), but I had a real problem trying to get the shroud over this hurdle. Eventually, prudent use of a ‘persuader’ managed to get the shroud properly seated. I can confirm that the longer barrel does work with the shroud, but the barrel is no longer ‘fully floating’ within the shroud, as it pokes it’s crown through a tight-fitting O-ring and into the silencer body itself. Indeed, the cavity within the shroud appears to be redundant know.
Ig720, sorry that this happened. you’re a bigger man than me. i would be on their doorstep with the gun in question in one hand and a baseball bat in the other. i’m glad to hear that at least it shoots well. i’m guessing that you won’t be doing any more buisness with that company, in the forseeable future. that’s why i don’t like buying stuff over the net. the only reason i bought my condor from Tony, and not AF, was the ungodly amount of positive feedback on this site and the fact that when i called him, he took the time to answer all my stupid questions. laying out that much coin to someone you’ve never even met is a GIANT leap of faith. i can honestly say that i would not hesitate to do that again with Tony. TT is run the way a buisness should be, with honesty, integrity, quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. too bad not everyone has the same qualities. live and learn, huh.

Like I said before, I’m just gonna suck it up. I know what new looks like when I see it.
I had a chance to put 60 pellets through it at 20 yards and I’m extremely haPpy with the performance. I will be shooting beyond a 100y by next week. I must also add that once I filled it to 240 bar @ 30fp it’s only down to 200 🙂 that’s amazing! The enjoyment is making up for suffering.

look at the buttplate again. that gun’s been handled. the scuff marks on the top of the rubber recoil pad shouldn’t be there. that pretty much only comes from being in and out of a gun rack or standing up on a rough floor , ( like being leaned up in a corner or standing with the gun on a concrete floor ). as far as the piece that’s broken off the stock, if it wasn’t in the box when he opened it up, it was definitely broken off BEFORE it was shipped from AOA. me, i’d be pissed.

If I buy a gun of 200$, I don’t expect the quality of a 2000$ gun. That’s what I said before.
BUT I expect the gun is NEW when sold as new.
Always try to get a similar picture. That’s why I don’t expect a Ford or even a BMW has the same quality as the Ferrari, but I expect it is not a used car! What would you do if they give you a used BMW or Ferrari? Exactly, the car dealer would go bankrupt in a jiffy. Because this is NOT done.
If everyone would have the same feelings when buying a gun and when something is wrong, give the same amount of emotions etc towards the dealer, it would be a lot better for everyone too considering the quality of shipping etc..

I found this on the yellow. AOA can somehow manage to to sell the .25 Airwolf w/HS delivered to this guy on February 9th but I’m still waiting for my Hugget.
