Q:

Brand new Airwolf?

So I received my suppose to be new Airwolf from AOA but he screwed up my order.

No magazine, WTF? Do the guns ship with out them?

I ordered 30mm rings I get 1″. I’m starring at paper weight!

I am a huge fan of AOA , I have had several great transactions with them.
They set up my guns mounted the scopes and sighted them in. everything was perfect!

I’ll be receiving my replacement today. Shane said this will be a new gun and that he personally will inspect before shipping. However the whole ring scope mistake turns out to be my fault. I ordered a scope and could of swore it was 30mm and turns out to be 1″. I wanted to mount something temporarily until I receive the Trijicon. I’ll post a update once she arrives!

Repair? Tell them to send you the NEW rifle you paid for! This is the 2nd recent real bad report I have heard about AOA. Well 3 with Tofazfou’s story!

They sent me 2 rifles. The one I ordered, and someone elses.

The first time I ordered a rifle from AoA they sent me the rifle I ordered and someone elses repaired rifle. 🙄

😯

Wow, this is crazy bad business for a rifle of this value…

Steve from Pomona Airguns is a nice guy and takes care of his customers without playing games.

I ordered a 22 cal FX Royalle 400 from AOA. When I first shot it I thought WOW this thing is really quiet! I put it on my Crony and it was shooting 18.1 JSBs at 640 fps! I dug out the target that they sent me and somebody had scribbled on it that it was set to shoot the lighter JSBs (15 gn?) at 735 fps! I had to turn it up to shoot the 18.1 at 890 fps.

About a year later, I ordered 2, 25 cal FX Smooth Twist barrels from them. I paid for 2 and only got one! The barrel was in a bubble wrap tube and there was another (empty) bubble wrap tube in the box. I called them up and was told that they shipped 2 barrels, if one was missing, it must have fallen out during shipping! There were no holes in the box. AOA had the shipping weight printed on the shipping tag so, I put everything back in the box and had it weighed at the post office. The box, with the single barrel, matched AOA’s shipping weight. I called them up again, raised hell and finally got the other barrel shipped.

A few months later, I ordered a closeout 25 cal BSA Lone Star, just for the barrel. The gun came shipped without a fill probe! I called them up and talked to Shane. He said that the gun should have come with a fill probe. He told me to check the box carefully! I told him that I agreed with him, the gun should have come with a fill probe and that I had already dumped the complete contents of the shipping box out on my kitchen floor and there was no fill probe anywhere in the mess. They finally agreed to send me one.

I am thinking about buying a 25 cal Air Wolf for a bullpup project. If I do, I will get it from PAG. I am a slow learner but, I won’t be ordering anything else from AOA.

I have read where the Air Wolf’s bottle is not removable. I assume that the bottle can’t be taken off while it is pressurized but can be removed once the air pressure is removed? If the bottle can be removed, I have emailed a guy that will make me a 1.5” OD 400 ccm titanium air tube to replace the bottle. The 1.5” OD would allow a much nicer looking bullpup stock to be made compared to the stock bottle’s 2.375 OD.

Has anybody taken the bottle off of their Air Wolf?

What! No mag?

😆

Nice M1A by the way.

IG720,

I gotcha bro. Nice collection of PB’s. SEXY SEXY for sure. But like you, i trully do love airguns. Just for the money we are paying these things should be more trouble free than they REALLY are. Being PCP’s and having the air contained by ORINGS, i expect leaks every now and then for sure but, i don’t expect to hear stories like yours and others or for me to even have a leak RIGHT when i get a yote in my sight picture (what are the fucking chances?).

I also got a recent buddy into airgunning and as quick as he got involved, he got out. The forums and the issues with brand new EXPENSIVE guns just wasn’t for him….lol. Returning a brand new gun cause of issues is a PET PEEVE of mine in this sport.

Good luck on getting your gun fixed man as i really want a Daystate especially now that they have the HUGGETT shrouds and such. They are really one of the nicest guns on the market with some great looking wood. The Daystates and AA’s have some of the nicest looking stocks out.

Tofazfou,

I think you’re right. If I tell my buddies at the range I dumped that much on air rifle they’d hang me as a target. I own everything from a .22 to .308 but never really had the enjoyment of shooting these guns out doors at my pleasure. They finally passed the suppressor law so that will help to some degree. As for air rifles, this could possibly be the last one, we’ll see. But the whole point of me entering this hobby was for power, small game and plink on occasions. Now that I purchased a nice family of .22 it could change. I can easily get over 100 ft lb and 2000 fps so go figure. They have there pros and cons.

These are some of my toys…

Not this first time i’ve heard crap like this. My buddy in L.A. DROVE to ARIZONA to get his shit right cause they were fucking him over the phone. Imagine a EX-PRO BALL (240 lbs and angry) player coming in to your store after you’ve verbally fucked him over the phone and now he is in your FACE….lol. He too bought a DAYSTATE Ranger that is that was fucked up when he opened the box. He left the store with a bunch of new “EXTRA” shit for his troubles.

Sorry for the side rant on your topic but i swear man, i’m just about fucking sick of airguns and their problems. Leaks, no replacement parts, bad customer service, lack of TRUTHFUL info, guns not shooting up to HYPE, guns broken when brand new outta the box……………

Pull out a PB and boom, things die and the gun never breaks down and you just about never have to call customer service (Baretta, Winchester, Remington) on a PB.

3000 bucks on a fucked up gun (airgun of all things)is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
inexcusable and it just seems like everyone is so passive about receiving a broken gun and gettting them fixed by customer service. Just look at all the responses on the yellow about calling Crosman or whoever when you receiver a NEW broken gun in the box. Is this shit now SORTA accepted in our airgun community?

LOL….OK…..RANT OVER..LOL

No sir, no mag.

Airwolf Tactical .25 500cc w/Hugget System

I didn’t come with a mag ❓ ❓ ❓

Good luck and try to have a good day. People don’t seem too care as much any more. Hopefully you will get a “new” rifle out of this. Which Air-Wolf are you after?
