Ok so a while back I posted about trying to write Evgeny about getting a shorty Vulcan made.
He wrote me back, as always. But I found out news on some thing else in the works.
Here is what Evgeny wrote me back:

Some guys here use Maccari Heavy Tar on the hammer spring and those say it will get rid of the ping.
I haven’t tested myself though since the ping doesn’t bother me.
That’s true in all cases except “Ping Pong”…..

My hearings bad anyway so the ping really doesn’t bother me. What ping??

Finally found the ping sound after the shot, its the reg and firing valve spacer–since the reg has no back stop like the cricket, edgun so you can push the reg out the other end—so that spacer can be loose so what I did was added a thin oring on the reg side and added a electrical tap around the spacer, so the key point for the other owners is to use the firing valve to push the reg and spacer into position, if not you can over shoot the vent hole for the reg.

That sounds to me like the PING problem could have something to do with inconsistency ❗

Yes I did when I first noticed to problem. He thought it might be the spring clip that secures the hammer, making the hammer bind. But mine is loose. He also said it’s NOT the reg, and Ernest said that also.
