Breaking news on the VULCAN……..

Ok so a while back I posted about trying to write Evgeny about getting a shorty Vulcan made.
He wrote me back, as always. But I found out news on some thing else in the works.
Here is what Evgeny wrote me back:

If a Vulcan semi-auto comes on the market and it has the great performance that I have with my current Vulcan then count
me in for one . Hopefully it will come without the ping noise and shroud vented and also have suppressor for noise reduction .
That really would rock the bullpup market .

Thanks for the update Fox. I had an FX POS auto that would blow O rings faster than Hoot can get his red shorts off. I will wait for you suckers…ummm I mean fine gentlemen to test any new semi-auto airgun.

I have read your information with great interest. The quietest little pcp I ever owned was the Colibri (I’m keeping the Leyla out of this) and I can only dream of a Colibri spin-off by Evgeny! His Kricket competition is stupid for having dropped a real contender in the mini-pup market. Lots of us want to sneak around and shoot critters plumb dead, and have no one the wiser. It makes us fell “Bad to the bone…” inside!
The problem I can see is having to either own a compressor, or have access to a 4000K+ air supply. Such things don’t exist in a lot of smaller markets, and our fire departments don’t always welcome us with open arms. That could pose a game changer to some of us. I tried the Hill pump, a 4000 psi model, and dang near ruptured myself pumping my gun up to 3600 psi. It wasn’t the pump at fault…it worked great, but it takes a lot of pumps to get above 3000 psi. Those last 600 psi were rough. I think it took ten pumps per hundred psi, after it got up to 3000 psi. Let’s see…10 pumps per 100 psi, 600 psi, divide by three, carry the “1”, subtract the original 3000 psi…that comes out to 6000 extra pumps!!! No wonder I was so tired!!!
I have a $100,000 life insurance policy. Perhaps my nagging wife can have me buried with a Shoebox Freedom8…(not!) Most likely she’ll double bag my sorry ass. drag me out to the curb, and I’ll end up in the County Landfill…. :angrymob:
