can someone explain……????????

why, when you sight in on level ground your poi changes when you are shooting up/downhill???? do you aim high or low when shooting down/uphill???

first let me say I have not got my new Condor yet and I’m not sure about my expertise on Airguns,But I have shot 3-D archery competition for almost 20 years,
i have to disagree with the gravity thing, We were told 30 yards is 30 yards,looking up hill or looking down hill will only throw your mind off of true yardage + – but 30 yards is 30 yards.And a arrow going 300 fps.And a pellet going 800-1200 fps being affected by gravity will not change,it only appears that way.
but its a great debate to find out, I could be wrong.but i have missed the 10 ring many times on up hill or down hill shots only to find out my yardage was fooled.

Check this one more time… Notice that as you raise the rifle, the Point Of
Impact becomes higher and higher above the crosshairs…. If you are zeroed
at 30yds, the pellet would hit above a target that was higher than the bore of
the rifle and 30yds away. Therefore you would have to aim lower if your
target is above level… The more angle you have the lower you would have
to aim compared to the same distance when the barrel is level…

Adjustable gravity!

Why the hell didn’t I think of that?? 😉

You need to aim a little higher when shooting up because it’s going against gravity more, and less when shooting downhill because gravity has less effect on it the more downward you shoot I think.
