Condor SS availability
May 2 I placed a pre-order for a red Condor SS .22 from one of the popular online airgun retailers. Originally the estimated in-stock date was May 13 (a little more than a week from my order date, seemed reasonable), but the estimated in-stock date has been pushed back multiple times now and is already more than 2 weeks late with still 3 more weeks until their newest date listed. AF told me they are shipping guns to the retailer weekly, but the retailer told me shipments have been delayed because of AF waiting on barrels from LW.
Has anyone received a Condor SS in .22 cal? How about red? Getting sick of getting almost daily spam from the retailer advertising other items and begging for reviews of the other items I ordered, which I can’t even use yet because the gun has been delayed for so long. All this spam but no updates on my late pre-order. I guess I just want to know, is everyone with a recent order in this same position? Is this business as usual from AF? The retailer is reliable because I’ve received lots of other items from them, but it’s like an information blackout when it comes to shipment date of pre-orders.

Checked my email this morning and got an email from PA informing me that my pre order I placed early May for an CondorSS was cancelled. I shrug it off and tell myself more funds saved for my rainy day stash. I’ll just pick one up another time. Since I was online. I decided to check PA’s ETA on AirForce rifles. To my surprise they have the CondorSS .22 listed in stock. I was a bit pissed that my preorder for it didn’t get honored. What good is a preorder when they don’t even fulfill it when they have them listed in stock. I cancelled all my other existing orders with PA. So now I’m a bit more gun shy in placing an order with PA. Now I can jump off my soapbox.
Check out air gun depot they also have air guns ,accessories , and ammo specials. Get on there email list for there specials that they run!
Nope no chrono right now, but getting good accuracy at low power and around 40 shots per fill, so I’m happy as a clam. I’ve also decided to lift my ban on PA since they have such a variety of pellets – will definitely think twice before pre-ordering anything from them though.

TreeburnerCT , we will be shooting our airguns soon so I will let you know when we can get together for a fun day of shooting ! Probably after July 4th holiday . The week after maybe ! So I see your new condor SS shoots great . It is an excellent pcp ! Have you chronied your new pcp yet ? If so post some numbers.
I’m gonna pass on the airgun show, last thing I need is to find something else I want to buy. Next time you guys spend a Saturday or Sunday shooting I’d love to join you though if I’m not working.

Finally got my gun today from R&L. For a return it looks immaculate, and shoots great! Not only that, but it fits scoped into the Condor 42″ single rifle case I got which was a concern.

I wasn’t upset that PA didn’t know an ETA, I was upset because the customer service guy gave me conflicting stories in two emails which made it obvious they were just lying to try to hang onto the pre-order. Bad business, just like the way they handle multiple-item orders when an item is out of stock (other items aren’t held and can go out of stock, ridiculous!)

If you really want to know when the new condor SS will be available call Air Force directly and Speak to Rachael the customer service lady for Air Force . She was very honest with me about dates when shipments with condor SS and when would they be going out to distributors or threw Air Force . Any other distributor will not know when they will get there air guns until Air Force completes the assembly of there condor SS . I know it is the barrels that are the hold up from Germany for Air Force and until Air Force gets barrel shipments in condor SS are on hold to consumers and distributors . Air Force knows better when they expect barrel shipments in more than any distributor will know when .
I used the Amazon pay method on my pre-order with PA, meaning they couldn’t get the money until they shipped the item. I was concerned about the same problem happening to me; damn glad I switched to R&L.
You would think a company with such an extensive inventory would realize customer service is more important than anything, but I guess PA is hoping they’ll get a new customer for every repeat customer they chase away by treating them like shit.

had enough with PA wont do business with them anymore spinloc was in stock yesterday and my hawke scope bubble thing is now out of stock today both are out of stock they took my money a month and a half ago never again will i shop there cancled my order today after they responded with “we dont hold items for people” you took my money the item was sold not just on hold
fyi if you pay via paypal they take your money immediately even if they dont have the items in stock

Hey treeburnerCT forum members and I are going to the Connecticut air gun show in Windsor ,ct on June 22 if you are interested in going shoot me an email , if you read my other thread it explains what is going to be there. Hope you can join us for a fun day of looking and talking , maybe buying air guns !
Just a little update: Randy at R&L was very helpful in helping me decide between a pump or tank, and called today to let me know I was up on the waiting list if I wanted a return with minor wear from a bipod being attached during an in-store demonstration (which I was happy to take at the discount he offered). I would definitely deal with R&L again, and felt like my business was actually appreciated, unlike my original preorder through PA.

Sorta like amazon told me items are available, got my money, them a day later informed me item is back ordered, BUT STILL SHOWED IT AVAILABLE “IN STOCK” on their f’n get the cash, lying f’n web page.
But I still do business with both PA and Amazon when it is to my advantage ❗
Like a cell phone battery Amazon said ” in stock” but after a week I got notice of mail shipment from chinka. Expected delivery a month from now 🙄
WTF, I win cuz it’s cheep and I don’t really need it yet.
That’s how I stay ahead of PA also, I order pellets well in advance of my need, order a big quanity of just one priced pellet, cuz the free tin always is counted as the cheepest that you order, and I order enough to get free shipping.
Now that’s how to deal with a for profit business ❗ 😆
