Condor SS availability
May 2 I placed a pre-order for a red Condor SS .22 from one of the popular online airgun retailers. Originally the estimated in-stock date was May 13 (a little more than a week from my order date, seemed reasonable), but the estimated in-stock date has been pushed back multiple times now and is already more than 2 weeks late with still 3 more weeks until their newest date listed. AF told me they are shipping guns to the retailer weekly, but the retailer told me shipments have been delayed because of AF waiting on barrels from LW.
Has anyone received a Condor SS in .22 cal? How about red? Getting sick of getting almost daily spam from the retailer advertising other items and begging for reviews of the other items I ordered, which I can’t even use yet because the gun has been delayed for so long. All this spam but no updates on my late pre-order. I guess I just want to know, is everyone with a recent order in this same position? Is this business as usual from AF? The retailer is reliable because I’ve received lots of other items from them, but it’s like an information blackout when it comes to shipment date of pre-orders.

In Pyramyd Air’s defense, they hooked me up pretty good when I did a group buy of 21 Umarex SA177 BB pistols, 1000 CO2 cartridges, 120,000 BB’s and 21 tubes of pellet gun oil.
They saved me over $500 and my officers shot better the next qualification.
It may be one of those guessing games with manufacturer’s delivery times – God knows I just went through that on rimfire ammunition.
I just had to throw in they’ve helped me out and did me a solid in the past – but I was dealing directly with one of the upper managers.
Just my 2 cents.

treeburnerCT, are you from ct ? i am . also if you have any military or law enforcement back ground you will get a discount on the gun as i mentioned before . i know it can be frustrating but before you know it your gun will be in and it will be like christmas when you were a kid !
I’d rather wait a little longer than give my money to a company that lies outright to its consumers. Hopefully R&L has better business ethics. Also, I’ve had bad luck dealing with manufacturers in the past, plus Airforce charges $35.00 more.

I noticed that also with PA that the release date seemed to always change before the date PA posted .i ordered directly from Air Force . Just stay with one or the other distributor because every time you cancel your order and then place it again days later you fall to the end of the order and it will be even longer before you see the gun ! But I can tell you this it is worth the wait !

PA is a joke. Last time I checked I was told “we’ve gotten a few in here and there…”, now I was just told they haven’t received any yet.
Tell me you don’t know, even give me some bs response, but LIE OUTRIGHT and you’ve lost a customer.

I just heard back from PA – they told me the ETA is 6/21/13, which is the same date they list for in-stock on their website!
As I said to them: WTF was the point of pre-ordering?!

I followed the suggestion and emailed R&L and also AD – they both got back to me within an hour and R&L has me on their list. I also emailed PA to see if there’s any ETA; should be interesting.

I think R&L offers this discount too because he asked me if I qualified for it when I ordered mine.

I would try R&L I put in my order for the SS and a few weeks later he called me and said it was in. He is very pleasant to deal with.
