Condor Tank Dump need help
Hello I just purchased a condor from P.A. on initial fill valve was stuck I read post on this forum worked valve in and out to debur reconnected to pump tank would hold air but still dump every time within the first 4 shots
Contacted vender had them send another tank , The new tank took air fine but still dumps within first couple of shots , Valve seems to move in and out smoothly ,and pellets are seated so I dont want to hear that as a excuse for this gun . Im kinda sick of hand pumping this thing to have it dump all the air .I have tried all different air preasure from 300 down to 2200 pound fills with same results . Condor is 177 cal could that be a factor with this bird . Gun is flawless on co2 besides the adapter coming apart after first 20 oz bottle . Should I cut my losses and send it back or is there hope for a 177 cal Condor , I do not want a 22 ,I have all 177 cal airguns shoot paper only .

I used to have this problem quite a bit, playing around with 100’s of valves. Soon get tired of refilling gas bottles and sweatin on the handpump. Easiest way is to beef up the return spring behind the valve without having to go to a lighter hammer. Most would say it defeats the purpose of having a heavier hammer (not so true). It lets the valve open up at much higher pressure and also assists with valve stroke / travel.
At the end of this clip it blows out at 200bar (no return spring at all)

Drove ford f250s for 10 years got 2 bad ones dont drive fords anymore and havent looked back

I guess you showed most of us, springers can shoot, the cfx shoots so well its like why need another gun, maybe the addiction ahh.
Gun Has Been Returned they recieved last Friday,Shooting ole reliable to pass time waiting to here from someone.

Im not nearly as knowledgeable as most on this site, but I will share my own experience. Ive had valve dumps in two different tanks and after a lot of frustrations the solution both times was the same. Take the valve assembly apart (easy to do after a dump) Top hat down on a piece of leather, take a hammer and a recessed punch and give a couple of serious wacks to the back of the delrin valve seat. (If I had a disclaimer I would type it here) But really It worked both times. Of course if its still under warr. put a stamp on it and kick it back to AF.
No damage nothin hurt here (except wear and tear on my Buds Hill pump and some sore elbows from pumpin ) 😆 Oh yea my wifes feelings she bought it for me for Xmas what a Women Huh
there is quite a fps dif between the talon and condor , is the hammer itself heavier in the the condor , what makes the 150 fps diff between the 2 . my bud has the same barrel lenght as the condor on his talon but way slower on co2 700s vs 850 could someone help me with this 🙄 I live in south fla so co2 is great for back yard range way quiet .
Also did not want to have to spend more money on a talon tank. And wasnt sure if the Talon tank would have a stiffer spring.Anyway have a field Target Shoot next week , They will recieve my gun today .They say about 2 weeks to process and to credit my account . so must be right because I havent had my account credited back yet for the 1st tank they recieved last week .

Mine had the condor extra hammer weight removed, and works great with the talon tank, even if filled to 3000psi, I just keep the PW on 6 all the time, and i get about 50 shots with little or no POI change. As for using it with CO2. The CO2 adapter for talon and condor are the same, so you shouldnt loose any velocity if you remove the condor hammer weight.
Just leave it with the hammer only and it should work fine.
i had a tank dump on my condor, with a .177 barrel (it came with a .22 barrel and af said you just have to change the barrel to change cal.) yea right. i just have two valve stems low power one for .177 and one high power for .22. i also use a rubber washer behind the hat for a shim. but when mine dumped for the first time it scared the shit out of me, and the scope hit my eyebrow and drew blood. Lawsuite?????? but anyways don’t give up on your condor you will regret it. i think my condor tought me more about air guns than any of the other guns i have ever owned

send it back to Air Force you have a lifetime warranty
and they will make it right sounds like you have an issue with the bolt mechanism you just have to call them and tell them that there is definitely something wrong and send your bottle if it is the wrong bottle they will send the correct one with it i had to send my brand new condor 22 to them and they left no stone unturned on it even tuned it to shoot as well as it can with eun jins at no charge. thier number is 817-451-8966 they are very helpful good ppl thier thier QC just sucks.
