Cricket .22 or .25 poll
The king of polling is back…
I keep going back and forth on this. I want the compact size but want the power also! Someone said they can shorten the .25, but I also need it to be quiet!!! So the choice is just between stock .22 or stock .25
I’m voting for .22 since I believe a true Bullpup design is meant to be short and compact. But let me hear your thoughts. You might sway my vote (and purchase).

Glad to see this is neck and neck, because it’s such a hard decision. I have the .25 Cricket Rifle, and want the .22 cal Humingbird when it comes out 😉
I would have to vote for both!
But I can easily say .177, .20 and .30 and above doesn’t interest me in the least!
There’s no need to get nasty :winkn: The only similarity between Hoot and myself is we’re both old enough to “go off the rails” a bit, deviate from the subject, get thoroughly lost in the catacombs of our minds and stumble out into unfamiliar territory.
There are trademarks owned by Hoot, which can help avoid confusion:
A. Red Pantaloons, no other member walks around with vinyl, red plastic, tight shorts.
B. Insults so corrosive, you can actually hear small bits of your computer pop and sizzle.
C. Frightening images-we’re talking weeks of horror burned into your mind. (e.g. a cluster of cellulitic whales in bikinis) :suprisedn: Thank God he had to delete a lot of these because he overloaded his photobucket account. shudder…

Back to the .22 vs. .25. Another reason to go .25 is the pellets are easier to see :geekn: for those of us old enough to have grandkids.
Wow…. I have .22 compact and the .25 long . If you have to have just one I’d have Ernest do a .25 standard. He but one that was just About 26-27 inches long making 47fpe for 40 shots. The .25 does handle the wind better and the smack down range makes you giggle no matter how many times you hear it. Go .25.

D – when the ammo cost of a big-bore pellets is less than the cost of good rimfire ammo
E – when a big-bore AG gives a reasonable amount of shots per fill
