Q:

Cricket .22 or .25 poll

The king of polling is back…

I keep going back and forth on this. I want the compact size but want the power also! Someone said they can shorten the .25, but I also need it to be quiet!!! So the choice is just between stock .22 or stock .25

I’m voting for .22 since I believe a true Bullpup design is meant to be short and compact. But let me hear your thoughts. You might sway my vote (and purchase).

I have a “need” for range and bigger wholes with wholes in my target. 😉

Did you intentionally misspell Diego? “Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means ‘a whale’s vagina.”

😆 😆 😆

.25 tends to do better in the wind.

What? Still no CC info?? You CSI guys are one wiley punch, allright. I have rigged my account so when your “associates” get the “access” you, Sir, will be automatically registered as a Lifetime Member at Yellow Forum. Let that be a lesson to you all : Don’t play with Finns !

Sent from a Tab my wife lured me to buy … If your Aunt has a pair of hairy balls does that make “her” your Uncle ?

I tried the traditional approach of asking him for his account log on so I could help him but the old finlandish fool was smarter than I first thought.. I have my people working on gaining access to his account now.. Be prepared for new Avatar coolness

For plinking and sparrow puffing my .22 Cricket is unbeatable with what I own. I am going to get a .177 next in either H’Bird or Compact Cricket. :Fishing Hole:

How does a Sparrow rush feel ?? Here people puff the good ol´Ganja so i have never trie to stuff a Sparrow in a Bong. Will try that one of these days though – if you recommend it, i mean .. :11:

That cheap bastard didn´t send me his credit card info , just so i could verify his identity – nothing else of course – so i never gave him an access to my TAG account. I suspect he´s a roque spy working for CIA (New Zealand department) and trying to get me in trouble since i root for Crickets instead than those EG´s he seems to like. Why he likes them ,you ask ?? Beats me , my friend. Beats me … 😯

For just one gun .25 is the caliber IMO.

quote RatRacer:

I too waffled for a couple months about size vs power and need vs want. I settled on the .25, while not being uber small, is still compact, and I wanted the bang for the (lots of) bucks.

Deuce Deuce for me…all my PCP’s are .22- I mostly shoot targets with an occasional pigeon or ground squirrel. I haven’t had a need for the .25, I know people love em though.

Ya for sure. Same here, Mostly..
but I must say…

I have a “need” for range and bigger wholes with wholes in my target. 😉

quote Wingman NZ:

I already own loads of .22 cal pcps so for that reason only Id get one in .25cal. However, the day I buy a Cricket is the day they make a std length .25cal (the same length as the .22) but in the longer .25 skeleton stock.. the one they make now is just too long and the shroud past the cylinder just looks bad. IMO I think the .25cal in the shorter bulldog stock just looks even more crap…
Im really not a fan of the side lever or the multi shot and would far prefer one of their original single shot bolt action early models, the “Hooligun.”

I´m on the same page. That´s why i ordered another CF shroud that´s 60mm shorter than the OEM (and my current CF shroud) thus making the shroud end where the airtube ends. It´s still 780mm total length but almost as compact as the STD length .22.
The new shroud has a threaded muzzle-end and i ordered an extra muffler for it to be threaded on when absolute silence, a´la H 😯 😯 T´s requirements , is needed.
My friendly KalibrGun contact can mix & match stocks, barrels, shrouds, whatever so you can get whatever you want – as long as it´s in KalibrGun parts cataloque.
A pic of the new shroud/moderator :
I´m waiting the delivery in early next week and will post pics with both the moderator and without. I´ll also do a sound test since i just realized i have a very accurate Db meter (a leftover from my days racing MX) so i can measure the Db level with/without the bazooka on and also compare the new set-up against my “old” CF shroud and OEM shroud.

Oh yeah ; My vote goes for the .25 cal. Why ? I haven´t even tried the .22 cal yet …
