Q:

Cricket .22 or .25 poll

The king of polling is back…

I keep going back and forth on this. I want the compact size but want the power also! Someone said they can shorten the .25, but I also need it to be quiet!!! So the choice is just between stock .22 or stock .25

I’m voting for .22 since I believe a true Bullpup design is meant to be short and compact. But let me hear your thoughts. You might sway my vote (and purchase).

BOTH.
I own both and wouldnt want to give up either, hell as soon they finish their .357 I’ll buy that one and a .177 and tell you all 4 calibers are best.
And when the Colibri is released I’ll tell you you should have gotten that one.

For plinking and sparrow puffing my .22 Cricket is unbeatable with what I own. I am going to get a .177 next in either H’Bird or Compact Cricket. :Fishing Hole:

I love my .22 cal…pellets are available at my local gun store….the rifle doesn’t jump or need any kind of air stripper…plea it’s SMALL

.25 Cricket all the way..
Using my Tuned 60 fpe all the time .25 lately.
Quiet enough and with enough power range to skip the .22 in my opinion. Putting dime seize wholes at 40yds without a problem.

I already own loads of .22 cal pcps so for that reason only Id get one in .25cal. However, the day I buy a Cricket is the day they make a std length .25cal (the same length as the .22) but in the longer .25 skeleton stock.. the one they make now is just too long and the shroud past the cylinder just looks bad. IMO I think the .25cal in the shorter bulldog stock just looks even more crap…
Im really not a fan of the side lever or the multi shot and would far prefer one of their original single shot bolt action early models, the “Hooligun.”

I see the progress of voting results at the top of the page,
but, honestly, I’ve never understood the process by which
people cast their vote. By saying their vote in a reply?
clicking on a link somewhere? through private messaging?
How is it done?

That is mostly dictated by what you want to use the fun for. I have 2 calibers but my Rainstorms is set to 47fpe as the cricket is set at 33 fpe. But I know the cricket will get more shot time by a long shot. The .177 is for sparrows around the house
