Cricket WST .25 is in da House !
I finally received the Cricket so i decided to take a bad picture to show my remarkable photographic skills. I managed to sneak on it while it was doing the dishes. It doesn´t deliver the Bacon like Manny´s gun but it makes mean Pepper Steak AND fills the Dishwasher afterwards. I believe it´s a “she” judging by the way it moves around in the Kitchen. I´m a name her Barbara …
More & better pics to come tomorrow. I´ll be test shooting the Bugger tomorrow.

Yiihaaw !
UPS came with my new 8 liter (do the liter vs. cu.inch math yourselves) carbon/composite scuba tank today. DAMN how light it is compared to my “old” 7 liter steel tank. Looks much more high-tech too. 😉
I know one who´ll kick himself NOT hanging along on this buy … Hi Dr. Evil !!
Yea, the 4.5-30 sits on my Sako. Don´t fret – i´ll have one of those on this one very soon. That particular AO is a Delta 6-24 … A fine scope and since i shoot mainly at the range at known distances i don´t have to fibble with the AO. Would not be the best choice for hunting though … 🙄
I see it. Oh no an AO scope.
“Le Bug” taking a nap in my TV- chair. I really need to change that Wever-rail under the forestock for a black one …
You can hardly see the new HST adjuster but it looks good and works well !

Been shooting the Bug some more today and it really starts to grow on me. I have about 450 pellets thru it now and i like it more and more. I played around with the trigger adjustment and with some good pointers from Ernest, some trial/error,a lighter trigger-rod spring and few fancy moves with a polishing stone and now it´s near Match-like – light and predictable with a clean, crisp break. It sure has much more adjustability than a Matador. I got my R3 trigger very clean though so it´s doable there as well.
Now i just need to get a good number of pellets thru the barrel and then it´s time to dive into the regulator but i´m very pleased over the performance of this rifle thus far.
And the Delta scope is really something too. One of the best buys i´ve done in a very long time. Love it !!
They do have cheap shipping at BF. A friend also bought a similar tank and some small bits and the freight to Sweden – for both tanks and all nicknacks was just around 45 USD. If i was to order a pair of scope rings from Pyramyd the freight here is 60 USD. Crazy …
One or two small parts last airship cost was $4.10 US. $7-8 US ground from CA. 😯 USPS would be closer or less.
Really ? 😯
Its less expensive for me to airship from Best Fittings than it is from western US to Missouri.
I really need to start airgunning again for full-time.
This internet-roaming is one expensive pastime : Now i somehow stumbled over the Best Fittings website and ended up ordering one 8 liter GF/composite scuba tank. With accessories and stuff i don´t even need … Well – i quess that´s why we work ; To be able to buy stuff . :7:

Now abut that scope. Who makes it. That’s a new brand for me.
Knife
It’s a Delta Optical Titanium 4.5-30. Has GREAT,SOVEREIGN,SUPERB optics and the MCZ II reticle is nice too. Made in Japan by Light Optical Works who make scopes for Bush, Weaver, Clearidge among many other. Did i mention the crystal clear glass??
I was looking at two different scopes for a .17 HMR and medium to long distance Crow/Hare/Rabbit work and BR and got the field narrowed down in either Bushnell Elite Tac. 4.5-30 or this Delta. Delta beats the Bush in everything and has a price tag 25% under the Bushnell so it was a no-brainer. I´ve read every test i got my hands on before buying and listened to the dealer – who sells them both among March,Nightforce,Swarovski, S&B ,Kahles and whatnot – and is wellknown for his honesty and customer service and he said dollar for dollar (or in my case Swedish Crown/Swedish Crown) the Delta is unbeatable. If i wasn´t satisfied i could return it and i didn´t have to pay for it before i´ve had a change to test it so he just send the scope together with an invoice. Well – i took the scope and paid the bill… I´ve now been gazing thru every imaginable scope, turned hundreds of turrets and evaluated reticles and PX till i went almost blind and my fingers got numb and this is the scope i ended up with.
Like said it was destined to sit on a .17HMR but it ended up on the Bug. I have one more similar Delta on order for the original purpose. And i also have one Delta 6-24×42 AO sitting on my .22LR. Truly nice scopes !

I think that will cost us $1000 US.
The pic quality is as always – sub par. I don´t seem to be able to take any good pics. At all… 🙄

Who cares about the oven hole…
