Q:

Daystate Batteries

Got my Airwolf for christmas and my battery is already junk. Charged it overnight upon reciept or at least i thought i did (gun beeped and red light flashed). Shot it a couple sessions charging after each.Went to the range week before last got all set up to shoot, chambered pellet and nothing. Went home pissed off and put it back on the charger for about ten hours took it off and still nothing. Reset the default settings shot the chambered pellet out (big sigh of relief) turned it off and put it away. Took it back to the range this week figured id discharge an empty shot before i chambered a round just to make sure and nothing. I know its been turned off before being put away, charged with the yellow attachment that came with the charger (that one fit the best). I dont know if i got a bum battery or what, AOA says there sending me a new one on warrenty as soon as the next daystate shipment arrives. i ask if they have any in stock they say no they dont stock them. I suggested they might want to start and the guy tells me we’ve never had a problem with the batterys in a voice that suggests that Daystate is beyond reproach.

Anyone had their gun separated from the stock? Is that allen head bolt torqued down so tight that i’ll have to reef on it to get it out?

Anyone with similar problem?

man these guns souns like junk
after seeing all these problems on here and yellow
i think i will get a theoben or edgun way befor i get one of these

i have been thinkin of sellin some powder burners and saving for a nice high quality gun and i love the looks of daystate but they sound like a shit gun to me

I think Joe Brancato on the yellow forum ordered some batteries and was selling to guys. I dont know if he is still doing it.

But AOA is full of shit. The battery problem is not new.

Never had a problem with the batteries….. whole guns on the other hand 😳

That just sucks man. Nikol medal hydryde batteries usually last a good while before they take a shit. No like the old Ni-CaDs that would build up a memory really fast and then never take a full charge. I do know that it took a long time for mine to charge up initially. About 18 hours until it said “CHARGING COMPLETE 100%” I did notice something a little odd. The charger is a 12V DC power pack but the state of charge indicator in my gun says 9.1V ???
