Q:

DOA 600 Reticle

Anyone here have experience or knowledge working with this type of reticle? I know it’s meant for fast targeting out to 600 yards, but can it work for air gunning out to 150 yards in much the same way? I’m having a tough time finding a light weight scope for the cricket compact….this reticle is one of the few that I like.

Schott is a division of Zeiss of Germany. If they don’t have so much as a clue at to where it comes from, I would highly doubt if it is used in their sub-par poducts. Looks to me as if they are “Name Droping”, with having a clue what it means.

It’s somthing the Chinese are good at! :1: 👿 🙄 😆
Stupid Lying fucks!
Now ask me how I really feel about their Patent jumping, copy right stealing, counterfitting, cheating, lying asses!

quote SECoda:

I never understand that Schott glass stuff. I have an 8-32×50 Swift scope (made in South Korea) on a 22-250 and they advertise US Schott glass.
(USA Made BaK7 Schott Glass) What is the difference?

quote Sir Ville:

Don´t know yet. I´ll get it next week since it comes directly from the factory. It should be one of the best 36x BR scope made so i think i´ll like it !
The glass is from Schott in Germany. One of the best optics suppliers in the optics business. The tube is 30mm military grade and it has a marvellous reticle – not your run-off-the -mill BR (1/8 target dot or fine crosshair) but kinda half mil-dot with a floating 1/8 middle dot. Glass etched bla, bla, blaah …

I don’t know. All i know Schott Germany is a premium glass maker. There’s no way Swift has genuine Schott glass in it.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2. This POS iPhone sucks though …

😀 I had LASIK done 7 years ago. I remember that feeling when I woke up every morning and could see!! The world was a beautiful place. Good for you KM!

woldn’t give up completely on the Zeiss. It may say 50 yard focus, but in reality at anything below 1/2 its power, it will do just fine at 10 yards. It simply wont range for Field target down to 10 yards. A useless thing for a hunting scope anyway. 😉

You don’t really need 14-24 power at 10 yards ,and if you do, you new new eyes! 😆

Did I mention I now have new Bionic Eyes? 😯 and I thought the Zeiss was clear and bright before. Woo-Hoo!!! 😯 😀 😎

Nope…no rebate. I was actually thinking was going to get it, but its not on any of the models I liked.
I was actually considering a fixed 8x scope for this cricket for a while. Light weight, quick, and easy to use….but I saw all the fancy stuff and talked myself out of it.

I see Leupold has a rebate running now until the end of the year but I don’t think it covers that model.

VX-3 4.5-14×40 or 50mm (SKUs 59270, 66215, 66220, 66225, 115237) riflescopes, and receive a $80.00 rebate

That scope looks very rugged and tough, Ville. How do you like it?

I like those lowish turrets. A good looking scope!

quote Dr. Steele:

Scope looks like this but is 2oz lighter and has the Leupold gold ring in the front.

Seen my new scope ?? A pedigree BR scope at 36×42. Will be mounted on my Sako .17 HMR. Damn George … http://media.midwayusa.com/productimages/880×660/Primary/614/614369.jpg

That looks like a perfect scope for your Little Locust. The Delta isn´t overly big nor heavy but it´s overkill for the Compact .22. The scope would look as big as the damned rifle it´s mounted on . 😯
Now you only need to find some Bunnies to shoot… http://i1312.photobucket.com/albums/t522/SirVille1/Skit68_zpsd75f8f43.jpg … the Scirrocco way !

Scope looks like this but is 2oz lighter and has the Leupold gold ring in the front.

That’s just what I wanted….lightweight short and sweet Bullpup that weighs right at 7.5 lbs and 28″ fully dressed with scope, rings, and custom 2 piece CF shroud. Not to mention ULTRA silent. That’s a fun little gun that can get you into trouble. 😈
