Why should we do them any favors if they are not going to take care of our members?
The delivery is made by the shipping company. My and Tony’s responsibility ends at the moment Tony gives the box to the shipping agent. Someone got the problem with the delivered goods! Push the shipping agent. The company fucked you off! Well, too bad, the only thing is to push the sender. Good logic. I am not going to take responsibility for the fricks working in UPS or some other company. Not at all. The client doesn’t like what happened? What is the problem, Tony offered him to return the gun and refund the money? What’s wrong? He is not satisfied either with the gun or service — take money and run away to the better manufacturer/seller.
To me the issue is closed. Client either returns the gun and gets the money, or push the UPS to pay the broken by their idiots stock and got new a one.
PS. And yes, revealing the PM is considered as a very bad thing, at least here, in Russia, I don’t know maybe that is OK in US…
Well there you go! They take NO RESPONSIBILITY once the package is sent.

PS…. I run this place and Bad or Not… I don’t let people force me to do things either. I want people to know that we do not approve of such a BAD SHIPPING POLICY.

All I have to say at this point is I will never get another Edgun period.
I loved the one I had and hoped to get another in the future. Even contacted tony a few months ago about a .25.
I do not agree with Ed or Tony. Your responsibility ends when the customer gets what he paid for, not when you put it in a box and ship it off.
You guys made a HELL OF A LOT OF MONEY from this forum and are very lucky they started a section just for you. Bad business my friend, all around.
Customer service is very important especially when spending so much of something that is not necessary.

Be warned that ANY shipper in the USA will throw the packages around without any care and do everything in their power to deny an insurance claim. This isn’t just a UPS thing (postal/government workers can be ever worse!). These issues may occur again regardless of which shipper you decide to use if the packaging isn’t changed.
I can deal with a little extra $$ for better packaging to insure that my rifle will arrive safely. I’d rather pay that then have to send anything back and start the wait all over again. 🙁
I’m beginning to think that this return policy would be a non-issue if there were a large and steady supply of EdGuns coming in… It’s the wait that makes returning the rifle a near non-option.
So why has this information not been posted by those that received busted stocks? 😕 You guys got some ‘splaining to do! 😯
Here we go again. What kind of responsibility forum takes in case people discuss anything on forum? I don’t sell guns here directly, more over people, who hasn’t been registered here come to TAG because they heard on different forums that “Go to TAG they are nice guys and will tell you about EDguns….” That is just a place where people communicate, that’s it We have the same situation about 8 years ago in Russia, there was a great airgun forum at airgun.ru address, everybody came there, there was many and many interesting topics and then, one day, administration decided that visitors discuss things in a wrong way, they began to push them to the “right” way, well just half a year and that, the biggest and most interesting forums in RuNET stops, everybody, who brought there content just left it, now nobody knows about it. That is what happend when administration begin consider themselves as GOD.
I have my own forum, more then 8 000 people registered, more then 250 000 messages for 5 years. That is forum just a SINGLE manufacturer not a multyforum (by the way, Naser, there is an English section there) and I know how accurate the administration should be to keep the order and keep the visitors 🙂
You participation in this issue is too far from the real wish to help. The client was told he can take refund. He didn’t want it, but that is the only thing we can offer him. And whatever you or other person tell or do on this issue the result will be the same as it was offered from the begining.
I mean come on they have had a FREE ride here for long time and what they have saved in advertising and maintain a website here.

The intentions are very clear here. If you want to get paid, just say so, no need to bash the Edgun when they sold 1000’s of rifles & 2 or 3 came with a broken sTock!! After all we all seen the 100 of videos of the guys working @ UPS & other companies & how they throw packages around.
Also remember that forums make money from ads & no one puts ads except if they had good traffic & I think Ed forums brings you loads of traffic & not the other way around, he does have a forum already & it’s easy to make an English section.

The package was appropriate for all the time we used it (hundreds’ guns). Tony and I considered American post service as service clients can trust on, and based on that trust was the packing. Now we see that UPS is not the company we can trust on, we took it into consideration and take the measures to make the delivery more safe in the future. If those measures would cost me — we put it in the price. To tell you truth I am shocked with what happened, especially with the first case when the UPS guys opened a parcel, then bag, broke the stock and zip. I could expect it from Russian post office but never expected it from Americans. They opened my eyes to the real world..

Wow! I am VERY surprised! Let me remind you as everything happened with EDgun on TAG. Someone wanted to discuss a new gun, then other people joined and topics about EDgun spread out all over forum. Then I got a proposal about opening a special branch about EDgun. Nobody talked about the adv or sells or anything else. I considered it as the owner of the forum decided that EDgun and bullpups topics would be interesting for other people and to make it more comfortable to talk about it decided to put all this topics in one branch. That’s it.
Nobody from the administration of the forum asked me about anything, neither issued any other conditions. I took part in this forum as ordinary user, talking with people and finding here many friends. Now it turned out that I asked the administration about making a special branch about my guns, used TAG as free of charge adv, sold my guns through forum etc, etc, etc. Fucking tricky Russian used naive Americans to got money. Great! Thanks a lot, guys.

To me, American market is almost zero profit, taking into consideration the fucking Russian legislation, fucking European legislation, fucking logistic etc, etc, etc. I thought that US market has good potentiality for my FUTURE work not for the present. Well, nobody wants my guns at US any more – I don’t care, there are many other countries where I can sell them with much less problems and much more profit, just because they are closer to me. But I NEVER allow people to force me in doing something I don’t like to do and I don’t care about money, profits and other shit.

I don’t think ANYONE including myself has stated the broken stocks are “no big deal”
isn’t EVERYONE in agreement the packing needs to evolve as does the proceedure for dealing with damaged goods?

I had a shit Marauder out of the first production run so should those folks that received great ones and supported the gun early on have been told to swap their good one for my bad one?

Btw, Zoco’s EdGun is not broken, that looks like the the wood grain to me and i’m sure he would have said something if it was…
Thinking about it.
I have an idea.
We have EdGun owners here that have pristine stocks who do not think a cracked stock is a big deal and people should just fix it and move on.
So lets see if they are genuine in their lack of concern of receiving a cracked stock.
I propose any Edgun owner who has a perfect stock and thinks the crack stock thing is being blown out of proportion to SWAP their stock with a member who has a cracked one.
This way the person who does not care about having a cracked stock will have one, and the person who does not want a cracked stock will have a perfect one.
So who is going to be the first one to swap their stock for a cracked one?
Come on and step up! It is no big deal right?
