I have been offered $5000 for my Matador on several occasions. While that is more than I would pay for a Matador, I still choose not to sell. I guess a bird in the hand is worth even more than 2 in the bush.

I’ve seen that before on a gay air gunner’s forum. Guy set his cigarette on it, and was wondering how thin the metal to be able to burn through it so easily.
Anyway…the metal in those cans is a very soft, thin, alloy. And, he smoked those Virginia Slims, those 500mm real longs suckers, I believe.
Word was he was a “Castrati”, resultant from a lawn mower accident. Since he could no longer “pitch”, he opted to start “catching”….hard to say what any of us would do under similar circumstances.

I have one picture left and I have posted groups befor, I put them here and that was some time back, so here is 45 yards with a 308 Corsair and it was under $1000 scope and all.

The one hole group you saw was at 200+ FPDS of energy from the corse air and Honestly it is not the most accurate gun I got in the airguns, but it will at 75 yards consistantly shoot the same 115 grain FB pellet a one inch Group. I put the other groups on here from compairing my CZ 22 rimfire against my Ruger 1022 Rimfire to the Disco to the Marauder to the airforce Tony Gun.
I can honestly lay down and sleep at night saying, if theres a Gun out there that is better I have’nt saw it. And that’s at 45 Yards. Come-on guys, I didn’t say that I would pay $4400 for an Edgun! I said that I wouldn’t sell my 25 cal R3 Long Version for $4400. Mine cost $1895 and if I sold it, I would have to get on the list for another one. If I sold the gun how, I wouldn’t be able to get another one until late in the year. Being able to shoot the one that I DO have this spring, summer and fall is easily worth the $2505 that I would pocket by selling mine now.
I had my R3 apart and was sighting the scope back in at 25 yards, shooting out of my kitchen window. I was not using a rest, I was just sticking the R3 out of the window and shooting.
There was a contest, on the Yellow forum. You had to print out this target and shoot 4, 50 yards, 5 shot groups. The rules were that you got only one try at the target. It was a little breezy that day and I didn’t do a real good job of trying to dope the wind. This is the only target that I printed out and shot. I am sure that I could have shot a few targets and cherry picked the best one. The R3 will shoot far better 50 yard groups than it did that day.
I can get quite a few 3-4 shot, one hole 100 yard groups. There is always 1 or 2 fliers in the group that messes things up. This one was .391” for 4 shots.
I am not knocking your Crossmans! If your Crossmans can shoot this good, you better keep them!
