Q:

EDgun Leshiy Scope Choices (pics)

I decided to start a new thread where users could post photos of their scope choices on the Leshiy. The gun is so compact it really begs to have a scope that is in line with ED’s concept of a forest walking gun.

Congrats Charlie! The SWFA looks great!

Thanks, Exziver!

I think my neck is too short. I can’t get a good eye relief with either SWFA or the Hawe Airmax. Even with the scope all the way back as far as it can go. Short neck problems :confusedn:

I thought I was the only one with that problem

I’m waiting on an airmax to put on my gun. See that goes….

SWFA looks good. Thank you Brain for bring me the best Christmas gift.

Shooter The MTC connect is not a viable option in my opinion. Look for scopes that are more at home on an AR 15. The ergonomics of this gun as caused me to to reach with my thumb a couple of times for my selector switch. It holds like a SBR

Yeah, I was thinking about MTC Viper Connect 3-12×24. Such a nice scope but after placing it on Leshiy I would need to have a duck-like neck.

So what’s the best eye relief of a scope for Leshiy? (…) Is 30 mm considered a good eye relief? I think it is not.

I don’t know of any scope with 30mm (1.25″) eye relief. Except maybe MTC Viper Connect scopes, which are not Leshiy-friendly scopes. Scopes with about 4″ eye relief (most of the scopes) are fine for Leshiy. Generally anything with 3″ relief or below is not prefered on L.

Seems to work just fine…

So what’s the best eye relief of a scope for Leshiy? Let’s assume that the ocular is situated like that:

Is 30 mm considered a good eye relief? I think it is not.

Looks heavier than the gun lol

Just for the looks the short Vector 1-6×28 looks great on the Leshiy. The review Wingman made about it is also great, but the fixed parralax and the 6x magnification is bit to low for me.

I was wondering if someone has some experience with this model Vector 2-12×32

The eye relief of the Vector 2-12×32 is 89-100 what is about the same as the short 1-6×28. So it looks like the scope can be placed just as far to the back of the rifle and will come a bit above the moderator.

It has about the same length as the SWFA 1-4×24 Classic(260 mm vs 270) what is posted by PiterM on the first page. This SWFA looks good on the rifle.

But this scope has a magnification (about 6-10) what i would like and 10yard – infinity side parallax.

Anyone who knows this model or in combination with the Leshiy?

Cheers Huub

Yes, set on 5x (max) and enjoy 🙂

Hi all, I’ve just got access on here but have been reading with interest as I’m still waiting to scope my leshiy.

I too want to keep it small and compact but as mentioned above a lot of the ideal scopes are pricey.

Being UK sub12 I don’t want a fixed parralax of 100yd but want an AR style to keep the size at shape I’d like to suit.

So I’ve been toying with the idea of a crossbow scope, the hawk xb30. Fixed 50yd.
1-5X24.
The only thing is the ret and magnification is designed to match bow speed.

Do you think it will be usable for my needs?

If you’re fine with duplex reticle it seems to be great choice. 50m fixed parallax seting is great for Leshiy use. And glass on Leupold is just awesome, I’ve got 3-9×33 EFR and love the picture.
