Edgun "woodstock" gets a makeover (Patman, look)
Even though Ed has agreed to send me a normal gray stock, I still could not look at the wood stock any longer. A 3M scotch pad, a can of primer, a can of Dupli-color, and some elbow grease yielded this:

Wow, really nice Ted. Tony quoted me $99 for the gray stock and the lead time could be long. From what I understand the self indexing magazines are now available for $150. They require receiver removal to mount up. I might wait to hear some feedback before I purchase. Your gun looks great and thanks for taking the time to make the videos.

I like it without the holes up front personally. 😉 In benchrest rifles they are for barrel heat dissipation, not sure their function on the EdGun. 😯 😆 😉
Now that look like the original stock but missing the 3 hole from the front grip but look better 😆

Guy, I used the “Graphite” color. It is the darkest of the three.
Thanks, Everyone. A couple things to add – do NOT put too much on at one time. You only need two to three coats, and they should be very thin. If you apply too much, the gun will feel tacky after it dries.
Second, after mounting the bipod, it became clear just how poorly the gun fit into the stock. It was very crooked. I’ve shimmed it, and now it is level. Could someone who has mounted a bipod to the normal stock please tell me how it compares?
