Just think…..30 caliber, pellets as big as Old Goats testicles, quiet as a mouse fart, supremely accurate!!! (???)
I have to hear this from a real live forum member testing out all the claims. I was so proud of my .25, and gentlemen it hits very very hard!
The .30 will be extremely interesting to examine, especially the trajectory. I am very curious as to whether that big pellet can produce a flat trajectory over the distances we shoot, or whether the nature of the beast will produce a rapid decline in fps and poi after it passes the distance it is zeroed in for.
At over 100 yards/meters a good mil-dot scope can be doped to figure that out and accommodate for drop. I’m curious if the initial 100 yards/meters indicates pronounced drop, or whether we can depend on a very minor fluctuation in flight at those ranges.
It reminds me a lot of those old West black powder guns that were big, bad, and hard hitters, but had a trajectory like a rainbow over distances short and long.
I envy you new owners!!!! I don’t envy what you will be paying for ammo…at least early on.
