The R5M “on par” with the Vulcan.
What would be the biggest differences between the two?
design with a rear bolt which I really hate . I think he kept this design because it was easier and cheaper for him to make .
If he would have made the bolt or a lever action forward than it would have gotten my interest . :2cents:

Eds’ new .30 looks nice , but for me it just will not work out for (1) I think it is over priced , (2) Ed stayed with his basic

You can use .177 pellets in .30 gun. Because why not?
What worries me a little is that rubber, oval transferport o-ring which is made of brass in R3 in order to prevent it from being blown out. Won’t it be problematic in R5?
If Ed will release it with the black soft touch stock then I’m all over it, hell even a nice laminate stock would be nice, I’d like the option of having a stock other than walnut. Oh and please release a .177 Matador to the US to please, thanks Ed appreciate it Bro.
Looks like a winner. I anticipate these will sell!

Agree, …..also I expect ED to sneak up on everybody with the smaller calibers and that side lever action :winkn:
What you talking about ? …look at that Chassis alone, also it’s super Sexy :biggrinn: :biggrinn:
Looks like lots of new design features, drawbacks in the new R5, at least for me, single shot, same rear bolt. The photos posted earlier of what looks like the R5 matador seemed to have a side cocking lever? Is the R5M next?

Big upgrade over the previous Gen’s in my opinion. Better adjustment of HST, new air tube design, fire control group, balance and moderator.
Looks like a winner. I anticipate these will sell!

That sweeping buttstock with the action going further back is just super stylish.
I saw it for pre ordeder at $1695 at Edgunwest.
€2100 I heard from a dealer here in Europe.
