evanix sniper owners??
My buddy really likes the evanix sniper and I dont want him to buy a bad gun. There is very mixed reviews about this gun. Is it worth the money or should he get a different gun? He likes the fx t12 400 also.

And remember you can only get the Teryx stock for the Gen I marauder, Last time I checked they were not built to accept the Gen II Marauder
something about the trigger or something not fitting, So if you got a Synrod your SOL……

Ummm…Haggard, there are times when PA is out of 25 JSB for longer than it takes me to go thru a single tin. Fortunately there is a .22 and a .224 Marauder waiting for me to play with on the rack…:D The .22 probably won’t see a ‘no pellets’ situation, and the .224 will only see that if I can’t cast more boolits.
cheers,
Douglas
Yeah, that Armada is a Joke, go .25 and Teryx all the way.
I don’t mean to beat this to death, but heres a breakdown-
A good, proven Marauder .25 off the classifieds you can get for $350 all day, every day.
The Teryx stock- $375
A good scope- the center point that comes with the Armada is ok, but you can get ones miles better for $200
That leaves him $75 for a bipod and 4 tins of .25 pellets to bring it to $1k, the price of the Armada package.
That looks awesome bro and thanks for the help!
Hey have him check out the Teryx Marauder first!!! He can get that tactical look and in .25cal! The Armada looks nice, but its $500 more than a stock Marauder just because of the stock.. but if he has the money, doesn’t matter.
I’d rather have a .25 than a .22- especially in the Marauder platform. The .22 can be accurate of course, but the .25 has a track record of being VERY accurate! And I think .25 is a more universal caliber if you only have one air gun.. its good for plinking, long range target, hunting, etc.
But again, its his decision.. In my opinion, the Marauder .25 in Teryx stock would be the BEST choice.
And it sounds like he’s hung up on being able to run to Wally world for ammo.. when I first bought a pcp I was stressing on having a local source for pellets too.. but once I got my .25 Marauder, I just started ordering 4 tins from PyramydAir, you only pay for 3, plus you get 10% off with the pyramid-nra code.. its the cheapest way to get pellets by far! If I order on a Monday, the pellets are on my doorstep by Wednesday- Pyramyd is extremely fast. You realize its much easier to order online than actually going to wally world! cheaper too. I wait til I’m down to one full tin, then reorder.. theres no need to ever fear you’ll run out of ammo.
IT WASNT FOR NOTHING! I showed him the armada magpul addition and he has decided on that one, he likes the looks, he likes he likes that it comes with scope and bipod, and even thow he wanted a .25 he likes that he can go to walmart if he runs out of ammo lol. You guys are awesome thank you so much!
But that’s the great thing with you guys here on this forum, you do it all over again and this merits my respect and a big “THANKS”!!!
This post was pointless from the get-go. Oh well, it was entertaining. There was a post from a guy named Bob who was wanting a Marauder. We gave him tons of advice and the guy ends up bitching about the costs of everything and calling us crazy for spending so much on airguns. It happens.
I remember that whole Bob thing! What a ball buster he was. Giant waste of time for all of us who tried to help him out!
Wildfire :5:
Yeah it happens.
He’s looking to spend over a grand on something, his first though should’ve been to research it himself.
