FPE for a Farm cat.
I can shoot .25 Kodiaks @ 1050fps, 43gr EJ’s @ 980fps, and Jerry’s seven rings @ 830fps. I want this cat to die instantly. Should I even try with my Condor or use something else? This cat is using my house as a litter box. When I started the remodel I found 10-15 gallons of shit in the attic. Now that it cant get up there anymore it uses the front step. So it is going to die, and I have many ways to shoot it, but only one thats silent. Other options are anywhere from .22-.50cal.

Pab – I think it may still be legal to spank on the butt only in America. And you know you could easily tie this lack of discipline (mental and physical) to the down fall of American values and children. Before when you could beat your kid (and the schools could too), you didn’t have all this I’m a gangster fuck you mommy attitude of these kids. Most are in need of an ass whooping you ask me. I know what you mean ben’ I used to think it was a bit old fasioned to think a good clip round the ear could do any good, but when I was young, knowing the neighbour might come out and give you what for if you were caught getting up to no good kept me in check alot of the time. Now people face the possiblity of getting stabbed by some 14 year old chav if they say anything.
Jury is still out on the JSB Monsters 😕 They seem to shoot well, then they go to shit, then shoot well again. I need to get some proper range time with them…… 😀

On the part of the ridiculously vivid/obscene imagination on the (non)cruelty 😉 on cats – id say that if anything thats build to kill is used for the same purpose and in the most efficient way – then thats not cruelty. Anything but that – thats cruelty! Breaking the law is of no matter here! Laws change faster than people do!

Had a severe feral cat problem in Upstate NY some years back. Lived out in the sticks and Mom returned from shopping trip and put groceries in baby carriage with baby sister. Not too smart.
Cats attacked groceries and ripped up baby sister pretty good. Required trip to hospital and admittance for a few days.
Dad was some upset. We tried to shoot them with .22 and shotguns but they became wary and we missed a bunch.
Brainstorm. Just got a new refridgerator and had the big carboard box it came in. Cut hole in side of box to fit hose. Attached hose to exhaust of truck. Put in some cat food and attracted about 20 cats into box. Closed top of box. Started truck. It took about 3 days to wipe out all the local feral cats.
Much cheaper than bullets or shotgun shells. Although we still regularly sniped at survivors for the rest of the year.

But killing it by putting a ton of holes in it with a machine gun, not cruelty!
It died, and probably quick. As many holes as were probably put in it, I’m betting if by some bizzare chance one didn’t hit the head or heart or lungs, it bled out in no time flat. That’s like saying it’s cruel to shoot a deer with a 20mm rifle. It will explode, it’s probably not going to hurt at all, just die instantly. That’s not cruelty, that’s overkill. The laters ethics can be debated, but it’s definitely not going to suffer, so it’s not cruel.
Lol, no lama, just no 😆 It wasn’t one cat in a bag, it was multiple. By the read of it, shot from distance, so a very good chance of bits going flying before death occured. And anyway, thats not the real point. The real point is the casual disregard for the situation, and the unpleasant and unprofessional way it was dealt with. I’m sure you can beat a dog to death with a baseball bat in 10 seconds flat. Is that a good way to dispatch it?
