You Fuxineers are always fuxing with your Airguns, sooner or later you will fux it up beyond repair. It’s already a great gun from manufacturer….just shoot :4: and enjoy. I really don’t understand so much concern over an ES of 21 or 20 or whatever? When shooting at 900 + fps and trying to get ES to 10…your pulling your gun apart to achieve a little more than a 1% correction…WHY?? These are hunting guns not BR guns (although accurate enough), POI will not change much with a 1% correction to ES. Besides this is a measurement of the difference between the highest fps shot and the lowest fps shot in the string. The standard deviation would be the best indicator regarding shot consistancy of your gun. Mine stays around 2 std out of box. Me Likey!! :8: :8:

Indeed! I’ve never been a fanboy of Hawke. The quality jumps from scope to scope.
Jan is correct regarding the SWFA line : Very hard to get ahold on one in EU.

I just bought a SWFA SS 3-15×42 Tactical Rifle Scope FFP Scope on there Black Friday deal should have bought two. I got it for my Rem 700 .308, but I could just leave the Burris Eliminator III LaserScope on it and use the new SWFA scope for the new Vulcan .25 that I have coming. Or I could get a fixed power SS Scope they seem pretty nice also.
Here is my Rem 700 setup with the YHM Ti QD Suppressor. I reload my own subsonic ammo and it’s as quiet as the airguns. Yes I have two different Chrony’s running at the same time. I like comparing sometimes. One is the Green Chrony and the other is the MagnetoSpeed V3.
Keyser it would be true but in EU (everybody do not live in US) is almost impossible buy SWF scopes. They are pretty nice scopes. I wanted one because hawke is big and heavy. Hawke has one big advantage and this is half-mil reticle. Yes SWF has also good reticle but impossible to get it everywhere gradate it 🙁 unfortunately.

Hawke scopes are garbage. They don’t track well and I have no idea why guys throw $300-500 bucks at them. They are all SFP. Here is the honest truth, for an airgun used for hunting and non-competitive target shooting there is no reason for a variable powered scope, especially on a bullpup. Most variable powered scopes also have variable eye relief as well. This can make finding proper eye relief a real PITA not to mention parallax error because the shooter is wiggling their face on the pup trying to find a clear sight picture. What will happen after a few missed targets or game the shooter will decide on a power setting and leave the scope there. So why pay for something you’ll end up not using? Pay for good glass, usable reticle and proper tracking on the turret. I promise you this…get the SWFA SS, you will not find a scope with more features and mechanical quality for the money. Every guy I shoot with has switched to SWFA after using my gun. Watch Ed from EDgun shoot his guns on youTube, he uses the SWFA SS. Ed is trying to show off his gun’s accuracy he wouldn’t use a scope that hindered the gun’s inherent accuracy.
What I know Hawke never produced FFP scopes!

Please explain… I think between these two scopes they are 7 oz different not really much to worry about.
I guess the Hawke scopes are FFP? they don’t really tell you. Don’t care for a SFP Scope.
Depends how light you want to go and if shooting at night is something you do.

Damn your real to rock and roll that’s for sure. Get you Vulcan run a few hundred rounds through it and get it broke in.
Oh I have all that already. Two JB 4500psi tanks the shark and guppy loaded. I use the shoebox F8 and just ordered from JB the high pressure filter to use with the shoebox. Got the BF Deal.
I have been doing the airgun thing for a while and have several PCP’s from a .50 all the way down to a .177 and everything in between
I already have a couple of .25 Airguns so plenty of pellets. I have the Sumatra Carbine. 25 and a Custom MRod .25. I can post up some pics later.

Better stock up on pellets and have a air tank, sounds like your going to be doing a lot of shooting. :4:
