Q:

Gauge to fill with for accuracy

In order to not overfill my Talon’s tank with the Airforce Gauge does anyone here recommend a better more accurate gauge adapter to connect my Talon and Condor’s tank while filling up on my SCUBA as opposed to just filling the Airforce gauge to 2600psi?

I filled it up to 3000 and it clocked from 921 upper 800’s to all of a sudden 600 and at one point 400 😯

So I took a dime and placed it in the Airforce adapter and screwed the Talon’s tank in on top of it to bleed off a little air. This worked ok and then the fps jumped right back up to 800’s.
So I was wondering what gauge would be a decent honest reading for filling the sweet spot.

Oh ok..Thanks guy. I really don’t know if there is a major problem. I have been told that the airforce gauges are not too accruate but thanks for the heads up.
I wondered how it worked so now I can go from here and see what I want to get into after a while. $$$ 8)

Mucho Grassi-ass 😉

If you have a problem with your Airforce fill clamp send it back to them and they will fix it. Under warranty. I don’t think they calibrate the guage but will replace the defective. 😀

The Dive Instructor that fills my scuba tanks said no two guages read the same. Compare your guage to the guage used to fill your scuba air tank and go from there. 😯 😕

Airguns of Arizona, Straight Shooters, Airhog and Mac1, will test and sell you a good fill clamp. Better than Airforce don’t know. Tested and working correctly and covered by warranty. Calibrated no, just like airforce. 😛

YOu will need to send your guage to a Calibration company to get that $$$$ 😯
