Get rid of hammer slap???
Ok so I hear this brass piece here is what makes the slap, when you fire your Vulcan.
So what if we were to use a piece of felt, that you put on the bottom of a chair leg.
That has a peel and stick on the felt bottom.
Just peel and stick, the felt on the brass piece, cut it to fit, and get rid of the hammer slap?? 🙄

There was a post not long ago about putting foam inside the spring to quiet it down. It might have been Greg who posted it.
what about some spray glue on the felt first, so it won’t shed.
what else could we use then, other than felt? 🙄
oak, yes the ping is comming from the brass piece.
the game can’t hear it, only the shooter does, but still would like to get rid of it.
I’m really not a airgun modder, so take my comments with a grain of salt. I’d think about finding some round delrin or nylon stock.turning it down to the desired diameter. Then cutting to different thickness and testing with a light glue of some kind. Once you’ve found the right thickness test the material for longevity.
How about a loose fitting rubber tobe over the hammer spring to contain the twang?
A guy could maybe put some foam inside the hammer spring

Exactly it reminds me of my Air Arms TX200 MkIII twing-twang.
Would be nice to get it fixed. Almost sounds like your shooting a springer

I spoke with Tony. If I am correct I believe he intends to work on something with the manufacture to fix this.

there is some twang and some ping as well.
It should work……. Might pick up some debris on the felt, also got a chance of the felt wearing of and getting into stuff.
