Maybe in the summer time. There are some issues with the quality, I stopped installing them, but in this delivery there are few black soft-touch stocks.
Yes there are few on the Standards.
You’re going to love it. I thought my .22 R2.5 was great, my .25 R3 Long is fantastic! The added power and shot count over my .22 standard are the big benefits and I actually think the long version balances a little better offhand for me.
On another subject…for anyone who has received their rifle already from the new shipment– are there any component changes in this batch compared to the last shipment around April of 2011?
I know Ed has shown videos of a new style breech & bolt and there were rumors of trigger changes but I haven’t seen anything definite yet.
I already have my long .25 from April 2011 and my .25 standard won’t be here until next week, I was just hoping for some advance information…

I loved my .22 Edgun Matador but have wanted the .25 Long version ever since I first heard of it! I am very excited and cannot wait to get my hands on this new beauty. I hope you can ship it soon so I can finally get some sleep once it arrives. 😆

Hey Varminter, I to have a .25 cal. Long on the way. I’ve never owned an Edgun before. Can’t wait to see what all the buzz is all about :11:
I haven’t posted here for a while and took an airgun break while I was working on some other projects but once I saw the email from Tony that my .25 Edgun Matador Long is finally here, suddenly I feel like I have the crazy airgun bug all over again! I loved my .22 Edgun and have missed it ever since I sold it. I cannot wait to get my hands on the .25 Edgun Long version! 😈

1. That is correct, I am working on it and I do hope they will be in US towards the end of February.

In Europe the minimum price for EDgun Matador is 1 600 euro, that makes 2 130 US dollars. So, it is quite equal.

Just received an email from Tony with a UPS tracking number. That’s the good part. Now for the bad 🙁 Tony requested for an additional $25.00 because UPS has now gone from $50.00 to $75.00 to ship a Edgun. Let’s see here’ $75+16 for extra insurance=$91.00 just for shipping 😳 😳 well, I guess “you have to pay if you want to play”; and I definitely want to play 😉
For all you guys waiting , please make sure you check your bulk folders in your email accounts. My yahoo account for some reason decided to dump tonys email into the bulk/spam folder , good thing I checked it and caught it. Not sure why it did that even though he’s in my contacts list. Just giving you guys a heads up just in case.
