GTBJ Needs A Little Help
If any of you are Christian, drop in a good word for Scott McRae’s (GTBJ) mom.
She’s in intensive care, but doing better. Went in for some general repair surgery, and a few things went sour. They nicked her spleen, and they had to take her back in fast to remove it, and clean up the area. The spleen is a reservoir for blood, and other assorted functions. If it’s cut, you can bleed out very quickly, so this was a life threatening situation. Eric was a bit shaken. But he said the doctors were optimistic she should make a full recovery…which was not the situation last night.
He’s a good guy.
I’m putting in a good word for her tonight when I sign off for the day, and I hope you fellows will too.

She’ll pull through. Lots of folks are running around without spleens. Spleens are nice, but not necessary.

DH will have a good thought for her. Keep the faith, say some prayers. I have no doubt that soon enough she will be sailing on the smoothest of seas.
