Gun case?

What are some gun cases folks are using for their cricket? I’ve seen on the forum that Plano is being used by a number of members. I was looking for one that would accommodate a scope.

If you can’t wait, why not just pick one up from Amazon? It comes in both 36″ and 42″. Beats wasting your gas driving around town plus there’s a huge selection online.

This is a much higher quality case with better foam but pricey and heavier.

Same here. I think 36″ is what I’m looking for also, don’t want to lug around any more weight than I have to.

That Plano is exactly what I’m looking for. I went to two walmarts today since I’ve read your post yesterday, and neither walmart had hard cases, just the cheapo 15$ soft zip cases. Although in MI where I live, we have a chain of grocery stores called Meijer, that has the same floor plan as walmart, and sells the same goods. At Meijer they have an aluminum case with specs around 42″x4″x16″, it has egg shell foam and costs 50$. pretty decent deal if you have a Meijer in your area. Im picky and prefer plastic case with pluck foam like the plano. Cutting out the pluck foam to perfectly cradle anything you put in it, rifle, pellet tins, etc. I’d really like to find a case closer to 36″ long though.

Both East and West side Walmarts did not have a gun case one!
Said they were restocking for the upcoming Hunting season and should have some in this week end,,,
I will check it out and post back.
