Q:

Hi Guys

Still blocked from getting to Talon from home (att uverse). Camping this weekend. 4g works fine from here in central Missouri. Att and Tonys service provider are working on it. A ping trace times out somwhere near where the physical servers are located. This happened once before ( six months ago) and Pandemic fixed or knew what was up. Others are affected as well. Will be on soon hopefully.

We used to hunt ground hogs from our Yamaha 250 combo bikes. It worked great.

Interesting. I wonder how it would be to shoot off of.

Now to apply Honda decals. Honda puts on the minimum decals these days per customer demand and makes the decal sheets available at an inexpensive cost and the dealers all stock them. We have found that w/o decals some folks think our Hondas are the Chinese clones. 😆

At a campground one guy asked me how much the PCX cost and he literally fell out of his chair when I told him $3500 MSRP. He was thinking maybe $1500 like a Chinese clone. He was surprised when I told him it was a real Honda since it had one tiny decal on the back. I have since corrected that problem. 😉

😛
Both are interstate legal but… Honda tends to have the high HP engines in each CC class. I have a NCY Variator/face plate for the CVT that kicks the PCX up to 76 mph but I have not installed it.

The smaller PCX 150 top speed is about 68 mph
The Forza 300 top speed is 90 mph

I just rode a Yamaha Majesty 400 scooter that tops out at 105 mph. 90 is fast enough for me. 😯 The 650 class scooters are way up on top speed like 115-120 mph.

The Forza accelerates very briskly from 0 to 65-70. Faster than any of my cars.

Coda, what will that do 60 mph? Looks like it would be fun to ride around on.

The fleet (Touring and camping) 😛 It was 70 F here and did 168 miles on the new Forza. Added a tall windshield.

I tell them that every week. [They] have no problem laying hundreds of folks off every year at these huge corporations but it is tough to get in their crosshairs when you want to be. :angrymob: I have been trying for nearly a year now. :3: The stress is really gone when you don’t have to work. I don’t take much guff these days. 😆

Good for you Coda. Hang in there they may just give you a nice big package to get rid of you guys.

If I couldn’t shoot from my house in the woods, get tons of vacation, and have the flexibility to take scooter rides during the day I would be gone in a minute. If my job ever gets nasty I will do the same. I am in it for the annual bonus at this point and am way overpaid. 😳 😳 😳 They put us Sr. Enterprise Architects in some obscene market pay category for some reason. It certainly is not for what we do. 😛 What we do is so abstract that nobody can figure it out. 😆 I really should retire but want to get furloughed for a year of severance for the service I have. :biggrinn: I am working on it and begging a bit at this point.

Mike you one crazy MOFO!

Coda, ATT called me last week and asked me if I’d be interested in coming back as a contractor. I  my ass off at them. How would I shoot and work at the same time?

I bought a new Hayabusa and spent over 1000 bucks putting handlebars on it to get it comfortable, not the newest or best picture..
I GPS this not stock bike at 201 mph , Again this was on a GPS not the speedo,

I can go slow to, My touring rig.

Rockets!!! 180 mph top speed wooosh 😯 Too fast for us old farts. My new one won’t even hit 100. :biggrinn: I call it “comfort cycle” for scenic touring in the Ozarks. 😛

Is this the motorcycle gun site?
GSXER 1000.

One of my KLR 650s

Got a garage full.

Thanks Mike. Didn’t want to give you away… It has the Tech guys perplexed a bit.

Good news Brant, glad things finally got squared away for you.

Mike :8:
