Q:

Hi Guys

Still blocked from getting to Talon from home (att uverse). Camping this weekend. 4g works fine from here in central Missouri. Att and Tonys service provider are working on it. A ping trace times out somwhere near where the physical servers are located. This happened once before ( six months ago) and Pandemic fixed or knew what was up. Others are affected as well. Will be on soon hopefully.

AT&T just replaced basically all of my equipment and I am back. No one knows for sure what happened but the guess is the gateway/router/modem (all one box for Uverse) somehow cached something that isn’t being cleared out for that being a frequently used site by me. 😛 Thanks for all of the help. I pushed AT&T to replace the Gateway because of a member’s advice on a PM that it had fixed a Time-Warner connection as well swapping the box. Strange. The Tech guy can’t explain it. :ugeekn:

We do too. We have two Sportsman 550 with EPS. Great machines.

Cool. I have a Polaris Sportsman atv.

Nice Coda can you shoot chucks out of it?

Here’s mine…

I can shoot out both sides…… :4:

I do get notifications just fine.

Don’t have a clue what that is lets see a picture please.

I have to get back on the forum. I used the spare time to buy a Honda Forza now. Two bikes in three months. 😯

Dats nothing Coda. I have over 7000 alone just in my cricket this year. And another 3000 in my Bobcat. Almost time to reorder.

Things are slowing down a bit where i can focus on this access issue.

I think i may wear my baby Cricket out given the volume of pellets i have been shooting. I have over 4500 pellets through it. :biggrinn:

Thanks. We have done all of that and much more. No avail. I run ccleaner but this affects any device using the uverse connection. Replacing the uverse gateway/modem/router is a possibilty that left since a complete reset didnt help. So far everyone is on time warner or uverse.

Time warner has a bad history and notoriety of doing effed shit with their service to customers without notice.

If you are renting the equipment this could also cause the issue. They have a history of blocking frequent visited websites that overuse bandwith or is suspicious usage of bandwith. Call your isp and see whats up then, aside from that im stumped. Its client side if you can connect with a pc through other wifi connections other then your own so that narrows it down to your end atleast.

It is likely that it may be on the tags side of things, though if that were the case, you wouldnt be able to use a phone and wifi to connect at your house either and would yeild the same result for all devices.

I will check my tech book and see if theres another option to be able to fix this problem, thats the first th8ng thats usually the cause of these issues

Hey Bong reaper whats the Flavor this weak….. Gotta be something good. I see your an IT professional too

actually dman, i went to college to be a electronic technician

I tried adding talonairgun to my hosts file in case of a dns issue but no luck. I also tried using OpenDNS dns servers but it didn’t. I guees it could be the router/gateway messing up.

when was the last time you cleared your router/modems internal web cache? this is a common issue when dealing with heavily visited web sites.

try releasing and obtaining a new ip addres through the command window hold windows key and r then type CMD in the box that appears

type in ipconfig/all in the command window then ipconfig/renew

a full list off commands can be found here
http://stickystatic.com/doscommands

check the back of your router/modem, for a username and password.

by default, all linksys and netgear periphreals are set as follows

in a web browser type this in

192.168.1.1 this is default dns access for most routers and modems

(if this doesnt work, while connected to the access point you are trying to access hold the windows key and r at the same time and type in CMD. in the dos window that appears type in ipconfig/all and use the default dns access listed in the window. it should look similarly to the 192.168.1.1
NOTE: host ip and user ip are different, use the host IP address)

once typed and searched with internet access a sub window will appear asking for access perameters. enter as follows unless changed

username:admin
password:password

unless previously changed during initial setup. if it has been and you cannot access the router or the modem in this fashion you may need to hard reset the router

this is usually done by holding the reset button on the back for 10 seconds while powered on untill the lights on the front begin flashing then go blank, at which time you will need to power cycle the unit for 2 minutes to ensure a clean whipe then power it back on.

NOTE: its best to be plugged directly into the router for initial setup, you can do it wirelessly BUT it can cause issues if there happens to be a interruption

if you can access the router via this method, there should be a advanced tab in the menu you can click and tell it to clear internal web cache, this may or may not fix your issues BUT will make internet connections more stable and faster.

pc cache and router cache is different from eachother

also try clearing your browsers cache, i use a program called CCleaner located here
https://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER

this program does everything for you and can even clear registry errors (this may be causing the conflict as well)

whilst you are in your routers settings check for any updates for the software relating directly to your router/access point.

hopefully this helps you 2 guys out.

its free tech support, why ignore it lol

edit:my girlfriend just suggested also checking your approved web address list through your web browser as it may be blocked for some reason somehow.

i wont go into depth about this heres a website that will guide you through the process to check and block/unblock web addresses
http://www.wikihow.com/Block-a-Website-in-All-Web-Browsers
