Q:

Hi Guys

Still blocked from getting to Talon from home (att uverse). Camping this weekend. 4g works fine from here in central Missouri. Att and Tonys service provider are working on it. A ping trace times out somwhere near where the physical servers are located. This happened once before ( six months ago) and Pandemic fixed or knew what was up. Others are affected as well. Will be on soon hopefully.

Thanks Tony. ATT said they also think it is a routing issue and not either SP. ATT told me they would try to identify the device when i call them back to help them trace it. My ip trace times out down GA somewhere after bouncing through Florida.

Here is the reply I received from my web site guy….

Tony,

The IP address of your customer is not in our block list on the firewall. If he is unable to reach our network he should contact his Internet Service Provider. Note: he is able to reach our network using his cell provider. Absent us blocking his IP, this indicates that his ISP has an issue routing his requests properly.

Thanks,

Unfortunately Pandemic sent me a PM when this got fixed the last time and it was deleted a long time ago. I should have saved that one. I know it was not on our end and it affected a range of users/ips. I am tired of turning off wifi on my phone. I have 18 mbps uverse and the phone can only get a weak 3g in my valley.

I’m using Time Warner and they haven’t been able to figure it out and believe me I was all over their ass to figure it out. It’s part of my job to monitor the forums for complaints and product issues for anything WWAG sells and since I can’t easily monitor the forum that most of our customers post on its like trying to do my job blindfolded. :angrymob:

So did my dad many years ago in Chicago.

Its weird. Once in a while a notifications like yours are returned through uverse. I guess i could ask for a different ip address. But Ironcross is in CA having the block. It almost looks like a block on a router, switch, or firewall. The Talon service provider looked for a firewall block a few weeks back.

Coda I have faith in ATT, I retired from there………………….hahaha

It’s weird given our locations so far apart.

Same issue I have I can go somewhere else with my computer and access TAG from another source but when I connect to my wifi doesn’t work. Really tired of browsing the site with my phone.
