Weird … The Benjie .25’s i’ve had have been flawless thus far. No visible defects whatsoever. That can’t be said about the JSB’s of the late since every Tin has had at least 100 pellets with some sort of trauma on them. Badly distorted Skirts, grooved heads and whatnot. They do seem to lead up the rifling faster but i think it’s due them being of a skosh larger diameter.
Who the hell knows. They shoot brilliantly out of my Cricket regardless. 280 or so mps = one hole affair at 50m and a mag per hole.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2. This POS iPhone sucks though …
Yeah, there are shavings in mine, too, not too much gunk. The JSB are cleaner.
I bought some extreme close up magnifying glasses, 5 x diopter, which help a lot examining pellets or putting together small parts. I checked out the Benjis against the JSBs. I grabbed random pellets out of each tin. Most of the Benjis had tiny dents, grooves or other head defects; most of these were not from bumping around, but manufacturing flaws. The JSBs had very few head imperfections and were smoother. There also is almost no dust and certainly no shavings in a JSB tin holding 150 more pellets. The skirts on both pellets were mostly comparable, but there were more bent skirts in the Benjis, probably from bumping around.
Crosman is going to get a lot of bad press from the quality downslide. If it doesn’t change soon, I’m going JSB all the way. Once/if Crosman gets the quality back, they need to put some foam in the tins, like JSB, to cushion them a little in travel.
Hey Rob, I can’t really tell on accuracy yet. I bought 18 tins and a lot of them are dirty. Checkout this thread recently. I posted a picture:

Looks like you have some benji domes in that Edgun “habitat”. Anything to report? I know Ernest tuned yours to something specific, just curious.
I’ll put in some more test time if it ever stops snowing, raining or resembling my freezer.
OK, who bought them all…… :angrymob: :angrymob: :angrymob: :angrymob:

UGMJ, the big Plano, 2-gun cases have wheels, but they’re not highway legal.
Ville, what kind of Swede are ye? Gut and dry yourself a big fish and put a zipper on it, and cut a hole in the dorsal fin for a handle 😛 Nothing shines up a wooden stock like Codfish oil! Hell, the Italians have been hauling guns in Baccala for years. My husky ate mine, along with half the .308 stock and 1/3 of the barrel :biggrinn:
No wheels but you can put rims on anything.

Are there rolling wheels on that case?…I don’t remember when I had looked at it.
Why don´t they have a Walmart in Sweden ?? You have IKEA in USA so it´s only fair Wally opens up a franchise here, damn it!
I need one of those cases … :angrymob:
Dimensions: 43″L x 13″W x 5″H
How tall and thick is this case? I just ordered a 28″ long TJs .257 barrel and my 25 cal R3 long won’t fit in the stock bag with the 28″ barrel.
I´d buy one but unfortunately there are no Walmart´s here. 😥
Sweet just ordered mine! Should be here by next Tuesday 🙂 Thanks Brandon and everyone for the reviews.
I’ve got the big Plano case for two long rifles. It’ll safely hold even the pole-vaulting Royale 500 and another long gun. Decent cases, but a bit heavy. Good deal and have banged around the back of a pickup without issue. Tight seals, too. Some, maybe all, have a pressure/vacuum release. Not sure they’re tight enough to need that. 😕

Hopefully, this Benji crap is going to get fixed, but check this out: http://www.network54.com/Forum/79537/message/1393621174/Junk+Benjamin+.25+Pellets+++++++**+Part+II+**
