indexing issues with .25R3M
How many people have had indexing issues and how many have said something to Tony?
I asked him about that before my gun was sent and he said he knew of no problems. I find that hard to believe with the way machine gun was going off. I asked him about the indexing again and he made it sound like I’m the only one that’s had a problem?

Dearest Brother Hemn,
apparently we are living in a weird world, the “Edgun world”…..
Trygve that had an old perfectly well working MS breech (MK I) was promised by ED to send him the new upgraded MS breech (MK II) and all the others poor guys that have a NOT PROPERLY WORKING MK I MS breech up till now haven’t been promised anything.
Must be really a world apart, the Edgun World. :fishinghole:
Dearest Brother Hemn, may I kindly ask you what is your explanation for this? Could it be in relation to the EdClub membership as somebody else claimed formerly?

Dearest Brother Pippo,
No, the MS breech that has been sent to Trygve was working properly as i couldn’t see Trygve mentioned that that MS breech is not working,,,the only mistake was the .22cal breech came with .25cal magazines ,,, then Edward promised Trygve to send him the new upgraded MS breech … you can read the post here (http://talonairgun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=26855&start=100) and sorry if i couldn’t explain it well for you ,,, you better read the post ,,,,
thanks
I fully respect your position on Edguns but sorry I don’t get the message.
1) Trygve has ordered a MS breech for a R3
2) I don’t understand if he got the right or wrong .25 magazines
3) Trygve at reception detected that he got the older MS model while a newer one was already around
4) Trygve has informed ED about this and ED told him that he will send him the newer breech and that he can keep the old one
if I got it correct those are the facts.
So in other words the story could sound like this:
1) Trygve has ordered a MS breech for a R3
2) ED has sent him the old (not properly working) MS breech
3) Trygve has informed ED that he got the old not working MS breech while a newer supposedly working one was already around
4) ED when informed said “Sh*t Trygve has detected that I sent him the useless not working MS breech and in addition he knows that a newer supposedly better one is already around. Sh*t now I have to send him the newer one but WTF he can keep the old one as well since it is completely useless.
So this is the story and you call it “customer service”? :butkick:
Sorry brother Hemn, I can’t agree on this and IMHO less we speak about this and better it is for ED’s image. :fishinghole:

12 month warranty according to the manual 🙂 I say contact Tony
Although I had no issues with my 25 standard r3m(first shipment) when I first got it. Now that it has 4-5000 pellets through it, I am getting an incomplete cycle every once in a while. I’ve had it apart and relubed, I’ve polished everything up. Its just not rotating enough from time to time. I didn’t take any material from the end of the mag cam.
If the indexing and stiffness problem of the R3M has now been solved this is definitively good news. 😀
So at least now for your 2000$ cash you get a working gun. (In Europe the R3M MK I was sold for 2680$)
Will be interesting to see how all the former owners of not properly working R3Ms will be taken care of, they as well have paid 2000$ of their hard earned cash.

I got mine in December and mine seems to index just fine.

Dearest brother Pippo,
No, the breech that Trygve ordered from Edward was not for replacement a broken breech of his edgun, ,,, he ordered separately for his R3 … and instead of the new upgraded breech he got an old one (1st R3M model) with .25 magazines, after informing Edward by Trygve then Edward will send him a new MS breech. …
if I buy a brand new car with a broken gear box and the manufacturer offers me one year later to bring the car in to replace the gear box and tells me that I can keep the old broken one then I would suspect that the manufacturer doesn’t even want to pay for proper “waste disposal”. 😀
(OK at marketing level you probably try to sell this as “customer service”) 😀 😀 😀

Brother Pippo,
If you read Trygves post, he has mentioned to us that edward has upgraded the R3M breeches,
Andrew has sent the old breech to Trygve while edward promised him to send the new upgraded breech, ,, then Edward sent an email to Trygve that he will send him the new upgraded breech and he can keep the old one also (this is a customer service)
Since he doesn’t stand for his products he should at least tell people how to solve the issues and eventually offer replacement parts.
Just my opnion.
:dito:
If the newest batch has solved the stiffness and indexing problem then ED should inform his cutomers about that.

No indexing issues at all with my new .25R3M. It works perfectly right out of the box.
How can we know which version of R3M you got?
As far as I know version MK II was shipped to the USA but ED was still trying to improve the action, so don’t know if you got something like MK III because MK II still had issues..
Would be nice to know if the problem has been finally solved.
When did you buy/get your gun?
ATB
My assumption is that all the guns being sold by Ed & Tony are the newest version. There is no inventory left over from one batch to the next so everything being sold now must be the newest version. Check with Tony to be sure.
I got my R3M 2 weeks ago and have several hundred round through it. Everything works perfectly.

Dearest Brother Hemn,
please don’t misunderstand me and please feel free to reply to my previous post
but I personally I’m so disgusted by the Edgun World and Edgun Logic that I have decided from now on to just ignore the whole Edgun section and thanks to the moderators for giving me this possibility due to the new forum structure.
Enjoy your Edguns.
