So what is more important, the shooter or the gun?
Or are they equally important?
A crappy shooter can make a mess of an accurate rifle, they can also improve their groups through the increased accuracy of the better rifle.
But the best shooter in the world can’t make a inconsistent rifle shoot better through technique alone…
Is it 50/50, equal parts shooter to rifle accuracy?
60/40 shooter/rifle?
Or.
40/60 shooter/rifle?

Its the SHOOTER and how much MONEY he has!!
If you take a RED RIDER and have a contest at 20 yards.
Lets assume a red rider can only do a 1ft group..period!
A good shooter will keep a 1ft group.
A crummy shooter will not!
A good shooter will be able to shoot to the GUNS potential.
A crummy shooter will not.
Now us poor shooters can compensate by buying a better gun, and it will help quite a bit, but if the gun can do 1/2 groups at 50 yards, but the shooter does not have the ability, then 2″ groups it is. No sense buying a gun that can do .25″ groups.
There is some kinda balance point here, between the guns ability and the shooters, and the pocket book.
50/50. If the gun aint shooting straight a 100% shooter aint gonna hit the target. If the shooter aint shooting straight a 100% gun aint gonna hit the target. Symbiotic relationship and stuff 😆

A gun is a machine. It can be set up to be operated by another machine.
Millions of machines function flawlessly everyday without a human operating them.

In theory YES. When a tree falls in the forest it not only hits other trees but it thuds the ground. Animals can hear and hear very well. Don’t need a human presence to validate sound.
But, if it takes a HUMAN to validate the sound of a tree falling and NO humans are in the forest then NO, it makes no sound.
But the truth is, animals can hear and that’s all thats needed……..lol
