Pippo you cannot really be this slow. I really hope you are just trying to be antagonistic. Let me explain this to you my LCD friend. Ed did not ask for the deposit. The 150 dollars I set tony was not cashed. The check is still open. No one has made a dime in interest. Tony asked for the deposit just to get an idea of how many Lelya orders so he wouldn’t get stuck with extra ones. So I repeat no interest has been made. None zip zilch zero nada nothing void … Can I make it more simple for you?

sorry there has been a misunderstanding.
When I’ve posted “I never said people lost any money” I wanted to say I’ve never meant to say that people has lost their deposit/money because the guns will not be delivered.
But actually yes it is true, I confirm, that people the longer they wait for the gun and more money they will lose.
Actually the longer Ed will not deliver the longer he will have got a financing for free, without paying any interest, so he won interest and the customers have lost.
So yes I said it when I was saying “taking deposits and delivering one year later is a form of financing.” because it is exactly this.

Pip I am going to slow things down for you. You are a fool who either doesn’t understand or you are trying to manipulate people for some untoward reason. Every post you make pushes me closer to the theory that you are merely a fool.
1) I confirm I have never ordered a custom shotgun.
2) I never said anybody lost any money
3) I care because I want to check if the service and products have improved before buying again.
Should the Lelya 2.0 prove to be the better gun now then I will buy it.

That’s pretty true. I am a bullpup whore. I wasn’t on this board when Ted had sold me on the Bobcat That was the most expensive mistake I have made to date. There is no reason to re-hash my problems I had with the Bobcat but let’s say that I was such a happy person then. This is one of the reasons I came to tag. Back then Yellow was basically a FX fan club. One thing is true about me. If I spend 2k on a bullpup and I get an AoA screwing I will be very vocal about it.
Pippo you do realize that none of the Lelya customers haven’t lost any money. I don’t even think tony cashed my check. Ed did not collect the deposit for financing. Tony collected the deposit for a good faith offering. Tony I’m sure needed to collect the 150 to insure that he wasn’t stuck with 50 guns That is a lot of capital. From your post I can only assume you have never ordered a custom shotgun. The English makers require 1/3 down and the remainder upon delivery. If the pound increases during that time or their price schedule changes you the customer are on the hook. The wait for a Boss or Purdey can be 2 years. What I don’t understand about you pip is why you care ? You don’t have any skin in the game

Huh? I don’t understand. Can you use pictures between every two or three sentences to help us keep focused? Most of the forum members can barely read, much less understand prolonged treatises like yours. I keep falling asleep about six sentences down, and have to start over all the time.
It’s been my experience that words of no more than two syllables are best, used in comments less than five sentences, because….uh…..because, because….um…..dammit, now I’ve forgotten what I was talking about. My first sentences make no sense to me, I guess I’ll try again later, after my meds have kicked in.

nobody is doubting that the Lelya is worth the wait, I’m sure it certainly is but this is not the point.
Why buying an edgun has to be such a painful process? Why ed has to treat his customers like this?
Why not taking orders and respect the delivery dates? Nobody will complain if the delivery is a few weeks late.
Are you among those that still believe edgun is a one man company with each gun bench made and tested personally by ed?
Come on, you can’t believe that, ed himself speaks about 400 guns/month and those are the numbers of a big company.
Learn about customer care, marketing, etc and please also about financing because taking deposits and delivering one year later is a form of financing.
Now lets come back to the Lelya, I want to tell you my own experience and it doesn’t matter if I have it, if I had it or if I’m shooting the one of my friend, plain and simple I know it.
The Lelya is a fine little bullpup with his pros and cons, as all of them have.
In my opinion it has a very limited scope of application and doesn’t do much more than others do as well and probably better.
Those ones that know the bigger brother, the matador, will still love it but will say as well the R3 was playing in another league.
Once the Lelyas will be delivered, I’m eager to learn about the experiences and impressions of Secoda about it. I know he has a baby cricket and he will be able to make a valuable comparison of the two.
Personally, in my own comparison, the baby cricket was the better gun but this was just me and I’m eager to hear about you. Am I bashing the Lelya by saying this?
So lets look forward on the new delivery date and hopefully all of you will enjoy your Lelyas very soon, it really is “a nice to have” gun.

Ed explained the delay in another post. He said if you have any questions to contact tony. Tony gave me an ETA of May/June. I know have been very vocal about my like of Edguns. All I can say is every question and issue I have had Ed has addressed it. If you guys are really wanting to know the ETA you could email ed. He always answers me. My Eddies are some of my most used and favorite guns. I like them. The Lelya will be so worth the wait.
An honest and upfront supplier, you say … You chose the wrong brand to get that. Sorry !

don’t worry guys,,,,the Lelya will arrive ASAP…and i think Edward has reserved all Lelyas to USA customers :angrymob: ….because i sent an email to Ed asked about ordering only One Lelya,,,he said sorry Hemn ,,,Lelya only will be available again by end of this year…. :3: so,,, i think you will get your Lelyas ASAP ,,,maybe by end of this month … 😯 😯 (( just my :2cents: ))
