No matter who ends up buying them, Tony will sell every last one. That’s why they are so hard to find. Once a shooter gets one, he seldom lets it go. The wait, and absence of the Leyla on the market, is what makes them valuable once you get one. Right now it’s all demand and no supply. Further, this is a limited production run. The demand will exceed the supply for the foreseeable future. Look at this as a potential investment, not just an airgun purchase.

I disagree. Even if he said another year I’ll be the first to say thank you for the update. It’s not like he’s holding them back and doesn’t want too sell a shit load.
I was on a waiting list for a 4K camera I placed a deposit on Dec 2005. Long story short, I received it April 2008.

I think it is pretty lame that the due date for these guns is 3 months past and Ed can’t even take 30 seconds to update us on the status of them.

here is my initial post that has caused some strong feelings in some of you:
I know I bash the brand or probably only Mr Ed but I have to say this……
There is some folks out there that blindly supports Ed whatever he is doing, right or wrong.
For them everything Ed does is always right, they accept EVERYTHING and CONTINUE to accept EVERYTHING.
They defend, protect and support Ed all the way, even if you criticize him or his products rightly they take it as a personal offense :angrymob: , for them Ed is like family or probably even more.
And what does Ed for them? He doesn’t give a “poop”.
Please Ed :bow: :bow: :bow: , show them some respect, send them the guns like you have promised 8 or 9 months ago.
They are simply too much in love to understand and judge properly what is going on.

I have to admit that I didn’t know that Ed (or Tony) didn’t take any deposit for the Lelyas (as this is normally common practice) so I cannot say Ed took the money and simply forgot about you. (Sorry Ed, my mistake)
Nevertheless it wouldn’t have harmed to show some love, respect or consideration to his followers by simply giving an update on the delivery date since he is late on this several months now even if he didn’t take a “dime”, after all it has been common pratice to sign real contracts by simply hand-shaking for centuries.
But this is simply my opinion, a man used to bash unfairly others or more probably simply looks at things like they really are (and doesn’t take them as somebody wants to make them believe).
This said I wish a “Good May Day / Labour Day” to all of you (leady included 😀 )
Well I remember those times when you could see those babes only on Playboy or on a calendar at an “Auto Service” and pictures where changing only one time the year.

I too put a deposit on one a while back. I don’t have a problem waiting as long as we are updated when/if the wait is longer than it was first told. I have no problem waiting a year for a gun if you tell me it will be a year when I get it. But if you tell me it will be 2 months and a year later I still don’t get it, then I get upset. All I ask is for the supplier to be honest and upfront with me.
