There will not be thread on the shroud as it will be new, excentric moderator of big volume and I think there will not be any need in the additional moderator.

Then I was wondering, after I looked at my Leyla, how he managed to maintain that space between his “tube in tube” eccentric moderator, and the air tube. So I translated part of his statement and this is what I got:

Edit: In the picture below it appears he replaced the original baffle cover with a slotted tube, that releases air into the eccentric shroud, then put it inside the eccentric shroud. In this picture, unlike the other, it shows the end of his eccentric moderator as one piece. I suspect the other may have been a prototype, or a copy.

In the top picture, he is showing how much space needs to be between the new eccentric shell and the air cylinder, so you can still remove the air cylinder cap and add air.
In the bottom picture there is a black knob at the top rear of the eccentric moderator. The threaded end of the original moderator assembly is clearly visible, with the new eccentric shell wrapped around it.
He milled a large eccentric housing, with tiny lateral vents on both sides, slid it over the Leyla’s moderator, and either grub screwed or threaded it to hold it in place!
Nothing on the gun is really changed at all. You only need the eccentric shell, add vents to the original moderator sides to permit air flow expansion into the eccentric cover, and you have a “pipe in pipe” design, double moderator!
How hard can that be to do?
Click the pictures…it’s very obvious once you know what to look for. Also, check out the tiny “ammo clip” mounted to the picatinny rail.

I think you are correct. I looked through all the threads on that link and judging from the pictures is sure looks like someone has developed a great aftermarket product. I was also impressed with what appears to be a very well designed and built product. It would be great to know more. Can someone provide a translation on what is being discussed on that link?

I tried running that Russian page through a translator and it kind of looks like this person might be selling these moderators as an aftermarket accessory. Hopefully someone can translate better for us.
Nice find keyser soze! Hopefully this is a good sign that the Russians are getting their Lelya’s. Maybe the ones to the US will be next!
How does one remove the barrel for cleaning the 2.0?
Has anyone thought about producing one of those larger moderators for Matadors? I would imagine almost everyone would want one. I believe the .30 Matadors came with them. Ed – If your listening, how effective would they be on a .22 or .25 Matador? Any chance you could provide some to Tony for us to upgrade?
