Q:

micrometer bottle "air dump"

I have a micrometer bottle for an AirForce condor and the bottle dumps all its air each time I shoot a single pellet. It does NOT empty the bottle when I dry fire the gun. I’ve double checked the pellet’s seating position, changed pellet types, set the hat adjustment adjusting up from 0.070 to 0.076, etc. The bottle is brand new from the store but is marked as Dec 2005. What am I missing or should I return the bottle and try a different one?
Thanks!

I think the e-tagreg+jds bottle 53 cu in is best. The jds bottle 53 cu in look and feel like the original AF bottle, but bigger and not that big….

X2 thats what I went with for exactly those reasons.

AF bottle is 38 cui iirc.

oh yeah, I forgot the ‘units’ in the USA… sorry !!!

I don’t know to get a Micrometer tank or a combo with e-tagreg+jds bottle, what do you think???

😳 😳 😳

Not many have the MM Tank. Maybe it would help someone that has one to know that 25 joules = 18.43905 foot pounds.

Same pw and valve settings do not automatically mean the same output. You will have to give it a try with the particular rifle and see.

Nobody???? 🙁 🙁 🙁

Hi,

Please, I need to know if the micrometer tank with a stock Condor cal.22 (pw minimum) has output less than 25 joules with standar JSB 15.8gr………

Thx & sorry for my terrible english!!

I wonder if they make a Condor valve springed for the Talon… 😆 Have wrench will bubba… 😆

I wonder if BevrBob’s new tank is working correctly…?

Hi Synopsys. I think you might have read somewhere that the Condor valve for the .177 has a heavier return spring compared to the .22. When I sent my Condor tank (with the Gen1 hi-flo valve) back to AF for the new valve upgrade, I had to specify which caliber it’s for. They told me that the return spring is different.

Maybe i’m not crazy after all… 😕 😆

It’s been a while but I believe AF told me that a Condor sold new with a .177 barrel has a different valve spring in the Hi-flo valve.

For what that’s worth? 😕

PA has this tank for the 0.177 Condor ONLY… 😕

Perhaps they have found a few new ways to sell the same product… 😆
