Q:

micrometer bottle "air dump"

I have a micrometer bottle for an AirForce condor and the bottle dumps all its air each time I shoot a single pellet. It does NOT empty the bottle when I dry fire the gun. I’ve double checked the pellet’s seating position, changed pellet types, set the hat adjustment adjusting up from 0.070 to 0.076, etc. The bottle is brand new from the store but is marked as Dec 2005. What am I missing or should I return the bottle and try a different one?
Thanks!

Anthesic refers to pollen…

Perhaps you should go BACK TO SCHOOL and learn your vocabulary if your trying to insult someone… 🙄

I tried to abort you but you just can’t kill stupid. 🙄

Aahh gotcha! You know I’m slow 🙂

The valves are different , Thats what im saying .

Sorry I wasnt specific enough, I thought that was understood .(shakes head)

when were talking about buying a micro meter tank , or talon tank it stands to reason unless otherwise noted, that the valve is included since that it is the only thing that makes them different .

I thought there was a Talon valve for the Condor that has a stronger return spring so it will work with the Condor hammer weight, or thats what I swore I read somewhere…

Now that I am looking around I can’t find it again… 😕 😆 Was it a dream…? 😕

I really have a hard time believing this is good practice, how would I know what spring I have if everything else looks the same on the valves…

as far as I have seen all AF tanks are the same.
Only the valving is different.

How are they different? The tanks are all 490 cc? Is the mouth wider on the High Flow?

no, the standard talon tank and condor hi flo tank are different

as are the micro meter tanks too

All the tanks are the same aren’t they?

just use a talon tank right?

The condor tank probably wont work correct?

Apparently they make Condor tanks with the Talon valves. The springs are heavier so you don’t have to take the extra hammer weight out…

Call AF and ask!

synopsys, I was thinking of getting a MM tank and a 177 barrel .

Are you saying that if I switch to MM tank on my condor ,It might dump too?

or should I just get a talon bottle for the 177 barrel ?

Im just guessing, but I would think that a 177 on my stock condor and full fill will hit about 1500 FPS!!!! and maybe land somewhere near you!!

unless I used the .4 gr gamo raptors and set some kind of pellet speed record 😆

I wanted to thank all of you . The people at specialty shooting have been very good and speedy on trying to help me with this problem. Specialty people think i have a bad bottle as some of you did.Mark test a nother bottle and is sending it to me today. Now that is service.
Thanks again
Bob

There is a weight between the spring and the hammer… You will need to remove the barrel and the pw to get to the weight… I added one a few weeks ago, it’s really easy.

Look for the barrel changing tutorial… 😉

I can not find the poist that tells me what is involved in changing hammer weight. Can you help me there
thanks
Bob
