Mutant Shorty on the way?
I just received an email from fedex that I have a delivery from Charles Frear and referenced by Topgun. I’m assuming it’s the mutant I ordered.
Is Charles Frear a dealer for Topgun? I’m confused…
What every the case, I’m looking forward to having in my hands sometime next week.
I’m going to mount a Clearidge 3-9 mildot scope on it.

CZUB (CZ for short) is not where Peter gets his barrels from. He told me in person that he has a barrel maker in the Czech that has been producing airgun barrels for Bori (peter’s father) for a long time. ÄŒeská zbrojovka (CZ) is extremely backordered for barrels right now and their priority is filling orders for their long term accounts like Kalibrgun and AGT. I was told this by a very large airgun dealer in the Czech Republic.
Peter would not tell me the name of his barrel maker.
that’s a great question, Octavius. Things we’d like to know. So far, I’m pretty confident in Petr’s description of “high-quality barrels” made in the Czech Republic, while still hopeful that barrels fro CZub will ultimately be supplied to ur orders. It’s a waiting game now to see what turns up versus what’s hoped for. Either way, laser accuracy akin to a Listone barrel is what I want. I do know this from Petr; the high-quality barrels are made with the same process used to turn out Lothar Walther barrels, aka button-rifled barrels. What other Czech barrel-makers (for air guns) are you aware of, Octavius?

Guys are you sure the CZUB is producing so short barrels? I did not about it. They have a factory 40km from me but in Cz republic. 😉 They have strange information in this company. Ask something is almost miracle…

You might want to try single loading to see if it helps with the filers, could be mag related.
If not, check the TP breech inlet for burrs …………

I shot another 50 or so shots at roughly 30 yards. I’m shooting good groups then a flier. Seems like the pattern is 3-4 good shots and then a flier about 1/4 to the right. In that respect, rifle is consistent but not accurate(crosshair placement). I shot it with hagans adapter, ldc and adapter, and factory. Same results for all three setups. So I ruled out clipping. It’s frustrating bc she is so good yet so bad..
On positive note, with Donny Du’s six inch ldc she is absolutely silent. Quietest gun I have ever shot by far.
