my condor is a hunk of expensive garbage
Got my brand new condor 24″ .22 cal in the mail on saturday. Filled bottle to 3000 psi, pw set right in the middle using the only pelets for sale in the area RWS 14.5 gr domed pelets. First shot was a dud and basically could be seen in flight. Next 20 or so were all right, but went supersonic and were louder than my .22 Mag. went inside, checked pressure and i was down to 1900 psi. Topped off and went to sight it in at 30 yards on a military human sized target. Forget it!!! absolutely no consistency. one would be off the paper right, and the next one off to the left, up down, you name it. Figure that the pellets are too light and going supersonic is blasting them all over. Turned the PW to 0 and the speed def dropped (visually, no chrony yet) but still all over the place. I have a nice Leapers scope that I swapped to my Ruger 10/22 to see if it was the glass. 1/4 group at 50 yards with the 10/22 so its not the scope or the shooter. Wadda I do?? welcome to the madness…..the supersonic crack is cool to hear but is bad for accuracy…I’m gonna guess that you dont have a crony so what i would and did do in your situation is crank things up till i hear the crack then back off the power wheel till it goes away again…plus like Wok said try only filling to 2800psi and shoot the hell outta your new toy…Greg
thanks for the instant feed back, Thats kinda the response i was guessing. I completely dissassembled the gun prior to shooting to clean it and ensure #1 I knew how it worked, and #2 that there wasnt anything left over from the manufacturing process. I guess that I’ll have to see where I can get something heavier online and start from there. I was stoked to get this hammer of a gun, but dissappointed it started like a scattergun. Oh well. Thats what makes it fun I guess.

it will take a few hundred shots to get the barrel broke in also u may want to remove the barrel and check all the bushings for tightness also clean/polish the inside of the barrel good to get out any trash
You need to get some Kodiaks for that gun. Light pellets suck in the Condor.
Also fill to 2800 psi and see how it does. Make sure you seat the pellet flush to the barrel.
Clean your barrel as well. BTW RWS Superdomes can suck big time. I do not even shoot them anymore. T
I would fill to 2800 psi and set the Power wheel on 4 then take a couple of shots. Move the power wheel up to 5,6,7 until you get some high velocity and then leave it there.

Don’t get yourself all worked up. The Condor is a great gun. First off you need to get yourself some heavier pellets. I would not own a condor unless I could get hold of some heavier pellets than 14 grains….I have no experience with those pellets…but I know most LW barrels like JSB, Kodiaks, and EJ’s. Good luck!
