Crack is bad…

But when it comes to birds, it’s okay…

quote Bizill:

When I hit birds out at 116yards they make a loud POP/CRACK that can be heard throughout the neighborhood. That’s with regular .25 25.39 grain and the heavies. My goodness is it a fulfilling sound. But damn if it isn’t a much louder pop than I would have expected. :5:

Crack, what CRACK ?
Dang knowwonder u got issue drugs are BAD, just say NO ……….

The polymag is bad ass in 25 caliber, It makes a loud pop when it hits,
When you say Kings are you shooting the 33.95 gr kings? I am impressed.
Have not tried them in my Veteran 25 yet. But in my 25 Cricket they make sparrows explode,
Brain is engaged now, working , This may take a while,

JSB Match Diabolo Exact King .25 Cal, 25.39 Grains @ 880 fps …….. 1 mag group bagged off of my tailgate at 55 yards.

.

Just got back from the farm this morning and shot some groups on paper (mistakenly stuck them upside down) out to 55 yards.

The best target 10 shot group with King at 880ish no wind.

Wind started to pick up about 3 mph, my Ploys best 10 shot group at about 885ish …. ?

.. and … . . shit, a whole lotta of dead critters !

~ Greg

Greg , Not mine at 48 yards , Poymags or the JSB 25 gr, Now at 48 yards the JSBs are a little tighter , But not enough to matter in hunting .
My LW barrel 25 shorty goes take a few shots to return to zero after being clean, It likes its barrel well used,
Mike

Sure, I’ll post some in a couple of days ………. tsakula, I’ve been very busy with a lot of AG projects.

Have some I did earlier but it got mixed up with both JSB and Polys.

All I know is, the Polys shoot a bit larger groups at 50 yards than Kings does a good 1/4″ – 3/8″ ctc.

Resolve the filers issue I had previously, NOT clipping related…… pellet batch/lot and mags burrs related only.

Shout Out, Anyone else had or experiencing 2″ fliers at 50 yards with the Vet 25 Shorty ?

It is true what I have stated above, but unlike the Taipans the Matador R3Ms trigger was tricky to improve and needed a Mod for me.
Although the Mat simple in it’s design ingeniously built, the trigger is maybe to simple and needs a few more parts in the trigger group to be user/shooter adjustable friendlier.

Obviously Ed must have known owners had disliked his trigger so widely known to be.
Or Ed wouldn’t have changed its design X of times with a new trigger group geometry recomfig.

I’ve heard may a complaints about the Matadors in the past Pippo, but haven’t heard of many recently …… some.
IMHO the latest Matadors are less problematic now.

I waited many a years to finally purchasing one before the R4 makes its landing for not knowing what if any issue(s) may it have, IDK/WDK.
But like ALL PCP that had the chance to makes it out of the factory doors, newly at best they ALL can be a starting problem for some.

Love all my BP taught them all to sing and don’t favor one for another, they have each have their own work to do.

Live and learn and learn to live ………. buy what you like, and experience it at its best, and figure what it needs, then move on.

~ Greg ……………… P.S. I don’t give ALL my secrets away ……….. 😉

Hi Greg,

you are one of the finest tuners over here :8:

Let’s say it takes only the “skills of a Greg” to make an Edgun shoot like a Taipan.

Edguns are fine guns only not just as good as current state of the art Pcps 😀
