Donny has a Vet Shorty .25 and and Mutant .22, IIRC. I calipered my .25 mag at 13.39mm overall height, without the nub, and 11.74 mm being the thickness/height of just the pellet holes portion. And the .22 Donny hit me up as 12.29 without nub (I think) and just the pellet holes portion being 10.35. I need exact measurements without having to buy a .22 mag for an airgun I don’t have.

Also got my Vet .25’s O.D. at about 33mm, but I’m not home right now and Donny’s .22 at O.D. of 30.97mm. These will be critical dimensions for my little project I’m undertaking.

Does all this sound about right?

Bill

As u may know Mutants and Veterans are first and second generation of Tapians.
They both require different mags ….. not interchangeable.
You may need to make both Gen, in both 22 & 25 cals too.

With nub 25 cal Veteran mag.
OD = 33mm
Pellet Chamber only = 11.77mm

Without nub 25 cal Veteran mag.
OD = 33.07mm
Pellet Chamber only = 12.17 -12.2mm

Mutant with nub 22 cal mag.
OD = 30.97mm
Pellet Chamber only = 10.30 – 10.33mm

I never seen a Mutant mag without the nub ?

Good luck with that ……….. hope that helps yah & let me know if u need more measurements ?

Came home from the farm the late the other day and got a bucket of eggs for a good deed done, over 60+ dead critters !!
We don’t charge them for the pesting we do they’re having a harden enough times, but they have been kind in rewarding use with fresh goods !

:8: Support your local farmers …………… NO farm = NO food !

My wife is happy to get them farm fresh eggs and she’ll be backing them up in an old Japanese Sponge Cake Kasutera (Castella) recipe, the neighborhood kids love it !

I’ll be back, gone farming with my new Vet …… ….. :mrgreen: .. :5:
